Dog and cat lover / owner
I grew up with 2 very active outdoor cats as well as a chihuahua named Luna. I helped to take care of Luna and I learned ways to safely approach dogs/people with an unpredictable dog! I grew up dog sitting neighbors and friends dogs and cats. I have cared for small dogs to large dogs up to 90 pounds. I love how every animal is unique and has their own personality. In May 2020, I fostered for 7 months before adopting my senior black lab dog, Ebony. I took care of her through multiple surgeries and different health adversities. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs. From here, I became passionate about fostering dogs and helped several dogs find their forever homes. Ebony passed away in March 2023 so I no longer have my shadow. I currently have a 6 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Puccini and two rescue cats from Salem, Oregon!

Carolyn did a meet and greet, and then walked my two senior dogs while I was at work. She is a prompt and thorough communicator. My dogs immediately felt safe with her. She seems responsible and compassionate. I will be hiring her again whenever I can!
Carolyn has watched my pup consistently over the past two years. I work 12 hour days and I know that Puccini is in good hands while I’m at work. Carolyn always sends photos and updates anytime she watches Puccini and always gives her a little extra love and attention. She is quick to respond, reliable and very flexible with organizing care for Puccini. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to watch their pet short or long term :)
Carolyn watched my adorable cat, Cali, several times over the past few years. She was very reliable, trustworthy, and super attentive to my cat. She responded very quickly and made me feel comfortable that my cat was safe while I was away traveling. I highly recommend her in caring for your furry ones!!!

Schedule
I am an Occupational Therapist with a flexible calendar. I am from New York but moved to Washington in June of 2025! My hobbies include running, hiking, reading, and cooking.

A typical day
I will meet your dog at their energy level and match it. I enjoy going on long walks but can also take your dog to the park so that they can socialize with other dogs. I will be sure to tire your dog out so they are well rested for you! I will come prepared with toys if your dog prefers this activity. I love playing fetch with dogs and watching them run. I’ll always have enough water and treats on me.
