I work full-time as a Pet-Sitter & House-Sitter & Dog Trainer. As a Sitter, I stay overnight in your home with your pet(s). I take dogs out both first thing in the morning and last thing at night, providing bathroom breaks as needed, as per your individual needs. Puppies are taken out more frequently, of course. When staying in your home, with your pet(s), I bring everything I need: overnight bag, my own bedding & groceries. This eliminates any need for me to leave, allowing me more time with your pet(s).

Pet care experience

Specialize in Seniors, Blind, Diabetic & Dogs in Heat - and Pitbulls (my favorite!) My Harvard Medical background sets me apart from the typical pet-sitter: I'm fluent in many medical and health conditions. My last fur-baby, a Rescue Pitbull, arrived blind & diabetic, so insulin shots and charting blood sugar was the daily norm. Together, we learned how to safely navigate the world, with a Diabetic-appropriate diet and exercise. (I became her 'seeing-eye human'.) I pet-sit in your home for the comfort of your pet(s). Pets are happiest at home, and their safety and comfort are everything. It's my goal to keep their life as close to normal as possible, so the only thing missing is you. I'm currently working towards certification in Basic dog training. My approach is praise and positive reinforcement, with food rewards and/or Clicker. I also work with the "FluentPet" system of teaching pets to communicate via word-buttons (think of Staples store button, "That Was Easy"!). I successfully work with several dogs who consistently communicate using between 4 - 7 words. It's a game-changer when your dog can use their words!!! I am also available to provide "CONSTANT CARE" which is around-the-clock, 24-hour/day care, where I dedicate ALL my time to caring for your pets - UPON REQUEST

Carolyn is amazing! She is a great communicator, very accommodating and flexible. During her stay she treated our pups like her own. She is very caring, knowledgeable and has medical experience. We felt totally comfortable that our pups were in great care while we were away! So much so that we were able to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended!!!
