ABOUT ME: I specialize in caring for: -Senior dogs -Dogs w/separation anxiety IG: sacramentopetnanny I have cared for and owned various breeds for the past 20 years, from puppyhood all the way through senior years. I am well equipped to keep your baby safe, cared for and tenderly loved until your return. There is no breed too large or too small. I offer consulting to other Rover sitters to find ways to improve the quality of care they provide to their animals and the overall level of service to their clients.

Your privacy is important. -I clearly communicate with you beforehand to understand the needs of your pet and the standards of your home so that you can benefit from a sense of peace while you’re away. ***SUMMER HEAT SAFETY*** Due to the summer heat, I only take your pooch for walks at a time of day when the temperature is below 76 degrees. During the day they will benefit from potty breaks, hydration, vigorous play and mentally stimulating activities indoors with cool A/C to keep them safe and happy. Special consideration is also taken when it comes to cold climate breeds and seniors as temperatures become more extreme. Please feel free to ask me about the precautions I take to keep your Pooch safe during our Meet and Greet. If you have any questions, please feel free to send them my way. I can’t wait to meet you! Carolyn did such an amazing job taking care of our dog! She went the extra mile to make sure she was happy and comfortable. She even cleaned up around the house! We would definitely recommend using her as your sitter of choice.
Carolyn is a professional. She was very responsive and sent updates during our trip. She was great with our 15th year old pup who can be stubborn. She was knowledgeable on how to care for and work with older dogs. She was patient and asked a lot of questions upfront to understand our dog's needs. She gave us such peace of mind while out of town. She also left our house super clean.
Carolyn is wonderful and has watched our dog and home on several occasions. She is reliable, trustworthy, kind, and our pup loves his time with her!
Carolyn took amazing care of our Franny. We came home to happy, comfy pup and a spotless home. We got a whole reel of great photos as a bonus. Would love to have Carolyn take care of franny again.
Carolyn has done a fantastic job caring for our very anxious pup (and my own anxiety as a worried dog mom)! She has been SO patient and committed to ensuring our dog is comfortable. She also took amazing care of our home and garden!
This is the second time Carolyn stayed with our two senior dogs, and again she took great care of them while we were visiting family over the holidays. We returned home to a clean house and fresh-smelling pups from their baths earlier in the day. Carolyn kept us updated with photos and videos throughout the week so we could enjoy our time awy without being worried.

Schedule
My day is spent working from home and I do volunteer work that takes me out of the house for a few hours 2-3 days out of the week. My last pup passed away at 16 years old and I have all the time, experience and love to give to your sweet babies.

- -Please let me know if there is a schedule you want me to follow for you. I know that animals find routines soothing, so I want to do my best to adhere to what their life is normally like while you’re gone in an effort to soothe any anxiety they may have from your absence. -Are there elements that trigger them on walks? -How do you feel about me taking them to explore new parks and trails? -Also, I'm happy to assist in their training, we can discuss the good habits you want positively reinforced during my time with them. -Reactivity, if they have any triggers I would love to know, so I can be on the look out to protect and soothe them when they need it most.
