I am a full-time teacher, how get this means I am available from June-August during the day as well as before and after school hours. During the school year I adjust my personal schedule so I am able to get pet clients before I go to work, and once I’m out of work.

This answer is pretty simple, I care for any pet like I would my own. My philosophy is to keep your pets as happy and anxiety free while you’re away. My track record over the course of my 15 year career of pet sitting with repeat clients shows my dedication to safety and trust within your home. That being said, I do not pet sit for clients with in-home cameras. If they are active, I simply ask they be turned off during my stay.

Any medical information about a pet I am taking care of is crucial. I want to ensure that your pet is getting the proper care when they are with me. Any previous incidents of aggression or biting is absolutely necessary. That does not mean I will not service your dog, but it is information I like to know before engaging with a dog.
A typical day
I have access to multiple walking and hiking trails. If your dog is a dog that likes either of these activities, I can take the dog with me to hike or for a long walk. I also have access to local dog parks and have reliable transportation to take your dog to and from the dog park if that is something you would like for your pet.

I have taken care of pets for others since I was 13 years old. I have become a reliable and recurring pet sitter for a variety of clients. I am well-versed in dog knowledge and dog behavior, so I understand how to interact with different dog personalities. I have experience medicating dogs and following specific diet plans. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds ranging from Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls to Rescues and Great Danes. My ultimate goal is to put both you and your pet at ease while you’re away. A traveling owner can be stressful for an animal and I strive to make the experience as positive as possible for your pet. During September to June, I teach school from the hours of 7:30AM-2:30PM. Outside of that time frame I am available for pet care. I do have recurring pet care jobs, but I have availability for new one-time or recurring clients. Because of my job I do not travel, so I am usually local and available for last minute pet care needs. It is imperative that I treat your pets as I would my own, or as I would want someone watching my pets to be. I am knowledgeable about how to properly secure dog harnesses, electric fence collars, and other means to ensure your pet’s safety when they are in my care. To avoid any unforeseen circumstances I always double and triple check gates, leashes, collars, harnesses or any other point of security to ensure your pet’s safety when they are in my care.

Carolyn was awesome! She stayed in our home overnight because our dog doesn't like to be alone. It was obvious that she was well cared for and happy when we returned after a week. She walked the dog as well as played with her in addition to the normal feeding and potty breaks. Would recommend her in a heartbeat!
