Pet care experience
Loving, full time pet care!
~I am independently insured by PCI- I hope I'll never need it, but I want to ensure your pets will be covered in an emergency!~ I can't think of a time in my life I didn't have pets in the house and wouldn't have it any other way! I work with pets full-time, so it's something I'm pretty passionate about😊 I love meeting and getting to know new pets, and there's nothing more fulfilling than seeing repeat clients get super excited to see me! I have two incredibly needy cats, Nelly and Benji. Benji is a ridiculously social thicc cow cat who used to be a barn cat, and Nelly is a tiny trash cat from the streets. Benji is the unproblematic golden child of the household, bless his heart. Only 20% of orange tabbies are female, so Nelly is a special edition. She is exactly as adorable as she is evil, and the only thing she loves more than screaming and mrrping is eating garbage. She gets expensive prescription food 3x/day, or she will throw up, and I have to use slow feeders for her- so I am very experienced with caring for special kitties and am prepared to follow whatever instructions you have for them! I'm also very experienced cleaning up vomit and hairballs and scooping the poop, so I won't be squeamish about cleaning up messes! My late American Pitbull Terrier, Meelo, was a foster fail who had heartworms and mange when I first got him, and I realized after he was adopted and returned that this was my heart dog! I've been through heartworm treatment with him which was terrifying, but I know a lot about it now and am acutely aware of many health conditions/ symptoms that may not have otherwise been on my radar. I am very attentive regarding health issues, so you can rest assured that I'll notice and alert you of anything out of the ordinary with your pet. Behaviorally, Meelo was also a handful (but worth it!) Working with him gave me a lot of insight into the importance of canine body language and understanding a dog's point of view. So much of what we consider problematic behavior is ultimately due to miscommunication between human/dog languages! Knowing this, my priority will always be to 'listen' to what your pet communicates and act accordingly to keep everyone safe and comfortable. While I'll love any pet, there's always something special about being chosen by shy or nervous guys! I seem to give off good vibes that make them feel comfortable with me. I also have a huge soft spot for bully breeds💛 Big or small, social or shy, my goal is to keep all of your pets safe, happy, and healthy❤

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is always number one for me. I pay close attention to details and will always closely follow any instructions for your door dashers, chewers, foreign object ingestors, etc. Communication between myself and pet parents is also a large part of my job! I pay close attention to all pets in my care and will let you know of anything that seems a little off, whether physically or mentally. Behavior changes can often be the first sign of an animal in pain or even a severe underlying condition, so I'll never ignore any changes in your pet. On a lighter note, a lot of people just want to know how their pet is doing each visit and I'm happy to oblige! By default, I'll always send some photos as well as a text update for each visit. Or if your storage is full of cat/dog pics already and you just need a thumbs up/proof of life photo, I can do that too!
Ratings and reviews
Carolyn is an amazing pet sitter/walker. I have a difficult pup with a lot of anxiety. Carolyn is so patient with her and does such a great job reading her body language and mood. Carolyn knows exactly how to interact with my pup to give her time to potty and as much attention as she’s willing to take. Treats definitely help. Carolyn is also reliable and communicative, which I really appreciate. The photos, videos, and other updates give me peace of mind while I’m at work. Highly recommend Carolyn if you’re looking for a pet sitter.

Carolyn went above and beyond. I am very thankful and would recommend her to anyone.
Carolyn does great with my dogs that are a handful. And she always sends the best pictures!

Carolyn is awesome!!!!

Carolyn was fantastic! She gave Zelda lots of TLC , compassionate when dealing with Zelda’s sick tummy, kept me thoroughly updated with messages and pics. Will definitely use her again for my pets needs. Thank you Carolyn!

Carolyn is exceptional. As an anxious dog mom with a shy rescue, she showed competence in how to interact with my pup safely and reassured me every step of the way. I can tell she really cares about her work and will make sure animals are well taken care of. Will definitely be rebooking!!

Schedule
Pet sitting/dog walking is my full-time career! I have availability most days between 8am-5pm, except for Sundays. This changes every week though, so feel free to ask! I'm open to earlier/later appointments on occasion as well, just not on a recurring basis. *I can almost always squeeze in kitty visits! I have to limit walks/outside time more during the summer since I can't physically be out as long in the heat, so any time indoors is welcome🧶🐈 I'm open to same-day appointments for repeat clients as long as I'm available! I do require a meet and greet for all new clients before completing any services, so will need at least a few day's notice to account for scheduling one- these usually take about thirty minutes and take place in the pet's home.
