I’m the person at parties who you find sitting on the ground making BFFs with whatever furry creatures live in the house. I love animals and will bring all that care and love for your furbabies! Grew up with cats & dogs (& fish if that counts?), currently own 2 big goofball rescue pitties, and spent a year doing professional dog-walking in Washington DC for pups of all sizes and ages.

My personal and professional pet care experience is focused on patience and positive reinforcement (along with lots of love and pets and scritches, of course). My own rescue pups came with their own baggage and reactivity issues (one with dogs, one with people) that we continue working on, and it’s been so important to us to have good, reliable dog sitters and walkers who are adaptable to the needs of our pups, so I understand the value of that approach. I think the most important thing is getting a good background on your pup’s needs and I’ll meet them where they are to make sure they feel comfortable and are safe while in my care.

Carolyn was wonderful! This was our first time trying an in house sitter and everything was great. She was very attentive and communicated all during her stay. Carolyn eased my anxieties upon meeting her and discussing everything. We will be using her again and would recommend her as well.

Carolyn was very thorough and great with our cats. She was great at communicating and sent lots of pictures. I had no issues trusting that our cats were in good hands.
Carolyn went above and beyond to do lots of extra playtime with our dog and took some super cute photos of him to boot. She did a wonderful job as always!
We love Carolyn! She has been so wonderful with my dog, finding ways to entertain him in the heat and picking up on emergent health conditions. She treated my dog as if he were her own. I wish she could move with us!
Carolyn took excellent care of our dogs while we were away for the weekend. She followed our requests and did exactly what she said she would do. We got frequent updates and pictures and the dogs we happy healthy and excited when we got home!

Schedule
I work in-office but have flexibility to work partial days (mornings or afternoons) when I’m dogsitting to ensure your dog gets lots of face time and attention. For walks and drop-in visits, I’m happy to stop by before 9am or after 3pm!
