I work from home for myself, so your dog will get regular pee breaks in my fenced back yard, as well as short walks (.25-.5 m) 1-2 times a day and a long walk (1-3 miles) every threeish days. We do leave the house sometimes for activities, but generally not for more than 4 hours at a time, and we are never out particularly late. In other words, my schedule is perfectly set up to accomodate a mature dog who likes their down time as well as regular walks.

Our family recently said goodbye to our beloved dog, Taxi. He was a handful but he was ours and we loved him very much. We aren't ready to adopt a new family member but we want to get some dog love back in our lives. I work from home and love taking walks (we live by Greenlake). My decade of dog ownership means I have a full suite of skills--handling dog-aggressive dogs, administering medicine, caring for senior dogs, and generally keeping them company during the day.

Carolyn and family took such good care of our dog. Judging by how happy he looked in the pictures sent to us, we were afraid he wouldn’t want to come home.
Carolyn did a fantastic job taking care of our senior dog, Athena. It was really great to be able to see from the daily updates and photos that she was happy, being cared for so well, and part of the family. It's hard to be away from home when you have an older dog, and Carolyn made it so much easier and less stressful.
Carolyn was fantastic with Apollo, taking him on lots of longer walks and sending us a bunch of pictures. We'd definitely recommend her to anyone else looking for a sitter
