Growing up we always had dogs- multiple at a time. All breeds from big labs to little beagles and terriers. I’ve always loved having a little friend around and was always to go to dog sitter for my family friends. My sister and her husband needed a lot of help with their covid dog so I was sent in to help little Frank learn how to be a city pup in Brooklyn. Turns out he loved the subway! I currently work from home full time on mostly Pacific hours but can work Central time. My mornings get to be a little more laid back so I have plenty of time to wake up and give dogs good walks in the AM I always make sure that I have the pets vet info, that if they are prone to jumping on counters or grabbing things that everything is put away. I also make sure that if I have to leave them alone they are in a secure environment with either their favorite toy or the TV on to keep them company. This along with making sure I understand the dogs personality before taking them out in public is very important.
