Safety, trust & environment
I make safety and comfort my top priorities. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, triggers, and favorite things so they feel secure and cared for. In a client’s home, I respect their space, follow instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and send regular updates. I’m attentive on walks, careful around other animals, and always make sure pets get the right mix of exercise, affection, and calm downtime. At my own home, I have a large completely fenced yard with cameras for additional safety. I also live across the street from a park so for the energetic ones, I have lots of opportunities to take them out!
Information Caroline X. would like to know about your pet
I’d love to know your pet’s usual routine, energy level, feeding schedule, walk preferences, and any medical needs or allergies. It’s also helpful to know how they react to other dogs, strangers, loud noises, or being left alone. Please share any quirks, fears, favorite toys, training words, house rules, or behaviors I should watch for so I can make them feel safe and comfortable.
A typical day
The day depends on your pet’s energy and routine, but I always aim for a mix of fun and comfort. We might go on walks, play with toys, practice simple commands, or have downtime with lots of attention. Keeping pets mentally, as well as physically, engaged without overwhelming them is a priority, and I’ll follow your usual schedule for meals, potty breaks, walks, and rest.

Gentle and Reliable Care!
Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of and trained my own dog and cat for the past 6 years and before that, dog-sat for family, friends, and neighbors for several years, including walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and keeping pets company while their owners are away. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s personality and routine. I’m super comfortable with energetic pets who need exercise, as well as shy or older pets who need extra care, calm attention, and consistency. I will always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I've also taken care of birds, mice, and bunnies, so I would love to help out with any of those, too!
Reviews

Caroline took great care of our cats! She paid close attention to them and sent thoughtful updates while we were away.

Caroline took great care of our cats! She is very friendly and communicative and clearly cares about pets’ wellbeing. We will happily book her again!
Caroline has always been the kind of person people can trust with the things they care about most, and that includes their pets. I have seen how patient and attentive she is around animals, especially when they are nervous or need extra reassurance. She takes the time to understand their routines, notices small changes in their behavior, and makes sure they feel safe and comfortable. Caroline is dependable, gentle, and genuinely loving, and I would feel completely confident leaving any pet in her care.
I cannot recommend Caroline enough! I entrusted her with my corgi Archie while I was away at Acadia, and he was doing better than ever when I got back.
