I’ve been caring for pets through Rover since November 2022, and I’m proud to have earned 180+ five-star reviews from the pet parents who have trusted me with their animals. I’ve cared for more than 100 pets over these years, and I’ve especially loved getting to know the shy, cautious, and quirky ones who need a little extra patience. Before Rover, I worked for two veterinarians, and I’ve shared my life with dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I genuinely love. I pay attention to the little things that make each pet unique. Some animals are ready to be your best friend the moment you walk through the door; others need some time to decide whether you're worthy of their trust. I’m happy to let them set the pace. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is earning the trust of an animal who was initially unsure about me. When you’re away, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved—and I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

I share my home with a dog and two cats, and they are truly our babies. Safe, loving pet care is simply part of my everyday life. Safety is always my first priority. I never walk dogs off-leash, and I make sure they’re protected from heat, cold, and other weather conditions. I carefully follow your instructions and pay close attention to your pet’s individual needs and routines. To me, loving care means putting your pets first: fresh food and water, clean bowls and potty areas, plenty of attention and exercise, and lots of affection, cuddles, and praise. I also believe that good communication is part of good pet care. I’ll keep you updated on how your pets are doing and am happy to send photos during my visits, so you don't have to wonder how things are going while you're away. I treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

Schedule
I’m retired, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m available for dog walks during the warmer months and happily provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals year-round. Because my schedule is flexible, I can take the time to follow your pets’ normal routines rather than rushing through a visit. Whether your pet needs a good walk, some playtime, a meal and company, or simply someone to check in and make sure everything is okay, I’m happy to be there. After nearly four years on Rover, I know how much trust it takes to hand someone the keys to your home and the care of a beloved pet. I don’t take that trust lightly.

- Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors so that I may attend to them properly. I would also like to know their favorite toys, where they like to be pet, and things that might frighten them (so I can avoid doing that!). It's important to me that they have a safe, fun, and positive experience.
