I am retired so have plenty of time for the caretaking of your animal(s). I am available to walk dogs only in the warmer months but happily do drop-in visits for dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. year-round.

I currently reside with a dog and two cats and they are our babies. Safe and loving pet care is a routine part of my life. Safety to me means that animals are never walked off-leash and always provided the right protection from the elements. And by loving care I mean that the needs of animals are first and foremost: providing fresh food and water, clean bowls and potty places, and giving lots of kisses, cuddles, and praise is very important.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors so that I may attend to them properly. I would also like to know their favorite toys, where they like to be pet, and things that might frighten them (so I can avoid doing that!). It's important to me that they have a safe, fun, and positive experience.
A typical day
For drop-in visits with all animals, I usually take care of business at the top and then use the remainder of the visit playing and/or cuddling. When I walk pups, I enjoy going at their pace. I believe it is their time, and if they want to go slowly in order to smell all the smells, that's great. If they want to run and play, I'm down for that as well!
