Trusted Care for Every Stage

What Sets Me Apart For me, dog sitting isn’t just a job—dogs are my absolute best friends, my ultimate road trip companions, and my favorite hiking buddies. I know firsthand that your pup isn’t just a pet; they are a member of your family, and I treat them exactly like my own. What truly sets me apart is that I have successfully navigated almost every stage of a dog’s life, from the boundless energy of puppyhood to the tender, specialized care required in a dog's golden years. Because I also have a professional background in long-term, high-trust childcare, providing a reliable, safe, and highly communicative environment is second nature to me. My Services & Activities Whether your dog thrives on a quiet routine or loves to be on the go, I adapt to their personality. I offer dedicated dog walking, drop-in visits, and personalized house sitting. My style of pet care includes: Outdoor Adventures: Perfect for high-energy dogs who love hiking, exploring trails, and getting plenty of intense physical stimulation and fresh mountain air. Social & City Manners: I love taking well-behaved pups along for coffee shop runs or car rides, ensuring they get mental enrichment, positive reinforcement, and healthy socialization. Homebody Comfort: For seniors or anxious pups, I am entirely content slowing things down, keeping them cozy, and giving them all the belly rubs and focused companionship they deserve. Every walk or visit includes fresh water top-offs, standard feeding or medication administration if needed, and a detailed update with plenty of photos so you have total peace of mind. Schedule & Availability I work on a flexible, part-time schedule, which means I am not tied to a rigid 9-to-5 office job or a daily commute. This flexibility gives me dedicated, open blocks of time throughout the week to fully commit to your pet. When I am booked for a service, your dog gets my absolute, undivided attention, ensuring their daily routines remain consistent and uninterrupted. Deep Senior Care Experience I spent over 15 wonderful years caring for my previous dog, supporting him through every single life stage from the day he was adopted to his senior years. I understand the patience, gentle touch, and intuition it takes to care for aging pets, whether that means managing strict medication schedules, monitoring mobility, or just providing a calm, comforting presence. Puppyhood & Training Know-How Currently, I am raising my 10.5-month-old English Labrador, Eggs Benedict. If you have a younger pup, you can rest assured I am well-versed in the daily consistency required for puppyhood. I am actively involved in training, reinforcing good manners, and maintaining crucial routines so your pup stays on track while you're away. When your dog is with me, they don't just get a sitter—they get a dedicated companion who understands their needs, respects their routines, and loves them like family.

Caroline was extremely understanding, patient, and loving towards our Aussie Max. Max can get anxious upon initial drop off, Caroline made him feel at home from the start of their day together. He was well exercised and cared for during his day with her and her dog, Eggs Benedict. We will be utilizing her services again if ever near the Jackson area!

Schedule

Pet care isn't just a part of my routine—it is my daily lifestyle. I currently raise a 10.5-month-old puppy, so my home naturally runs on a structured schedule of crate training, active outdoor exercise, regular potty breaks, and daily training reinforcement. Professionally, I work in childcare Monday through Thursday. My schedule is incredibly flexible, allowing me to easily step away to pop home, walk dogs, and keep precise feeding and medication schedules perfectly on track. On any given week, a guest dog seamlessly integrates into an active, enriched routine. This includes neighborhood walks, social playdates with trusted neighborhood dogs, and plenty of outdoor time. Because I am already deeply committed to maintaining my own puppy's routine, keeping to your dog’s specific daily schedule—whether they need high-energy hikes or structured crate and rest time—comes naturally to me.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety First, Always With over six years of professional experience in childcare, safety and situational awareness are second nature to me. I bring that same high level of vigilance, patience, and risk management to pet care. Whether at my home or yours, I am expert at anticipating a dog's needs, managing environments to prevent accidents, and reading canine body language to ensure they always feel secure. In My Home: Structured, Active, and Secure When a dog stays with me, they enter a home tailored for a happy, balanced dog life. Because I am currently raising a 10.5-month-old English Lab, my environment is fully puppy-proofed, secure, and organized around a predictable routine. Compatibility & Socialization: I love hosting friendly guest dogs who enjoy a bit of playtime. We do structured doggy playdates with my close circle of trusted friends and their dogs, ensuring all social interactions are safe, positive, and supervised. Routine & Rest: I am a big believer in the balance of physical exercise and proper rest. My home is set up for successful crate training and designated quiet time, ensuring your dog gets the decompression they need after a fun day. In Your Home: Respectful and Attentive If I am caring for your pet in your home, my priority is maintaining their absolute comfort and peace of mind. Keeping to Their Schedule: I strictly adhere to your established house rules, feeding times, and crating routines so your dog experiences zero disruption while you are away. Home Security & Cleanliness: I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. My flexible schedule allows me to make regular check-ins to ensure your pet is never left lonely or waiting for a potty break. No matter the setting, my goal is to build a foundation of trust with both you and your pup, ensuring they are safe, happy, and treated like family.

A typical day

A typical day with me is completely tailored to your dog's unique personality, energy level, and favorite things to do. Because I work a flexible, part-time schedule, our days are structured around quality time, physical exercise, and plenty of mental stimulation. 🌲 Morning: Fresh Air & Tail Wags We start the day bright and early with a refreshing morning walk. Depending on your pup's vibe, this could look like: The Trail Blazing Option: Heading out for an active mountain trail hike where high-energy dogs can stretch their legs, sniff new scents, and burn off that morning fuel. The Neighborhood Stroll: A gentle, paced walk around the neighborhood or local paths, practicing loose-leash walking and good manners. Post-Walk Routine: We head back for breakfast, fresh water, and a thorough paw-wipe down if we hit the dirt. ☀️ Midday: Socialization & Co-Piloting If your dog loves to be on the go and has great manners, mid-day is for running fun errands together! I love taking well-behaved pups along as my ultimate co-pilots for car rides or joining me on an outdoor coffee shop run, which is fantastic for low-stress socialization and mental enrichment. For the homebodies, seniors, or crate-trained pups, this is the perfect time for a focused check-in, a potty break in the yard, and a quiet, comforting midday treat or puzzle toy. 🐾 Afternoon: Playtime & Brain Games Afternoons are all about focused, one-on-one companionship. If I’m caring for a young pup, we’ll spend time reinforcing their current training routines—practicing sits, stays, and positive reinforcement with high-value treats. If your dog loves toys, we’ll play a game of fetch or engagement games in a safe space. 🛋️ Evening: Cozy Down Time & Belly Rubs After a day filled with fresh air and activity, evenings are all about winding down. We end the day with a relaxing evening walk, a fresh dinner, and plenty of dedicated couch time. For senior dogs or anxious pups, this means a calm, comforting environment where they can curl up, get all the belly rubs they deserve, and feel entirely safe and loved. No matter what our day looks like, you’ll receive updates and fun photo check-ins so you can see exactly how much fun your pup is having!

To ensure your pup has the safest, most comfortable, and incredibly fun experience with me, it’s incredibly helpful to know a few details about their unique personality and routines ahead of time. During our meet-and-greet, we can chat about: 1. Health & Medical Needs Medications: Does your dog require oral medications, supplements, or specific timing for eye/ear drops? Mobility & Joints: For senior dogs, do they have any trouble with stairs, getting into vehicles, or slippery floors? Are there specific liftoff or lifting techniques they prefer? Allergies: Do they have any food sensitivities, dietary restrictions, or environmental allergies I should monitor? 2. Behavioral Quirks & Training Focus Leash Manners: How do they handle seeing wildlife, other dogs, or bicycles while out on a walk or trail? Do they have a high prey drive or a tendency to pull? Triggers & Fears: Are they startled by loud noises (like thunder or fireworks), specific objects, or heavy traffic? Commands: What specific training cues, hand signals, or positive-reinforcement words are you currently using? (I love keeping your hard work consistent!) 3. Comfort & Home Routines Separation Anxiety: How do they typically behave when left alone? Are they crate trained, or do they prefer a specific room/spot in the house? Resource Guarding: Do they show any sensitivity or protective behavior around their food bowl, high-value treats, or favorite toys? The "Paws Off" List: Are there any specific areas they are sensitive about being touched (e.g., paws, ears, tail)? Knowing these details allows me to seamlessly step into your shoes, respect your dog's established boundaries, and keep them happy and thriving while you're away!
