Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Caroline and I'm a 23 year old recent graduate of Penn State living at home for a few months, looking to help take care of your pets in any way you might need. I have had pets for as long as I can remember, and grew up with my family’s dog, Rascal, as my best friend. He passed away last year at the age of 18, and I’ve been missing having a dog to walk and play with since. I have an enormous love for animals of all kinds, so I thought the chance to make some extra money taking care of pets could be a dream come true! I am patient with pets of any age, and am just as happy to play with a puppy or kitten as I am to sit and stroke an older pet needing some gentle love :) Please reach out if you are looking for someone responsible and caring to look after your pets!

I am happy to write a testimonial for Caroline about her love and devotion for dogs and her honesty and integrity as a person. Over the course of three years, Caroline walked my dog when I was out of town or unavailable to do so. Caroline was reliable and completed her responsibilities each time. Due to her character, I had no difficulty granting her access to my home and loved pet. When my dog became elderly and needed more attention and care, Caroline administered medications, assisted him in walking down stairs, and slowed down to accommodate his needs. At all times she was loving and compassionate toward him. I would highly recommend Caroline to walk your dog.

Since I’m living in my mom’s house right now, I would prefer to care for your pets in your home, and cannot offer boarding in my own house. However, like I said, I am more than happy to respectfully and conscientiously stay at your house for however long you may need if your pets require continuous supervision.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs or dietary restrictions, as well as if there’s any personality quirks or behaviors I should be aware of (so I either know not to worry, or to worry!) You know your dog best, and I just want to make sure I know everything I need to know ahead of time to make my care for them a comfortable and fun experience for everyone.
A typical day
I am happy to take dogs anywhere they will enjoy, whether that be parks, nature areas, new neighborhoods, or dog parks! I love playing with pets and being active but can also appreciate snuggles and long belly-rubbing sessions.

I am currently not working, so I’m free just about any time of the day or evening to care for your pets. Whatever schedule works best for you, even if it involves frequent check-ins or staying overnight, is on the table for me!
