Taking Care of Pets Soothes My Soul
My parents realized I needed a dog in my life when I was child because I would try to pet my fish... ;) As a family we've had dogs since I was around 6 years old. I began dog-sitting for a neighbor when I was in middle school and that included helping care for two puppies when I was a bit older. Over the last few years my petsitting/housesitting relationships have steadily increased. I've helped friends by caring for their puppies, dogs, senior dogs, kittens, cats, and even a bird! Before I moved to NC I had keys for about 5 friends' homes since I am on standby for pet-sitting duties when they go out of town. My boyfriend and I are the proud parents of 1 dog, 2 cats, and 21 quail chicks!

Safety, trust & environment
As someone who had an escape artist dog growing up I know the importance of safety, including keeping doors closed. I'm familiar with many different types of leashes, halters, Gentle Leader, even muzzles and am confident in using any your dog may utilize. I am also happy to crate your puppy/dog if needed.
Ratings and reviews
Caroline was very kind, but we had major issues with her punctuality and missed visits due to several unforeseen circumstances, resulting in us ultimately cancelling our booking with her. This was a major headache since we were out of country, and we don't have any family here. Some of our friends were eventually able to come by, but our kittens were still left alone for 3 days straight. The house was a complete mess upon our return. When she was able to visit, she completed her tasks as we asked, shared photos of the kittens, and even picked up the bikes that's the kittens knocked over, which we appreciated. We understand things happen, but we still got burned by this experience and won't be using Rover again.
Thanks Caroline! She did a good job communicating, was flexible to our schedule, and took good care of our cat when we were out of town.
My partner and I went on a two week long trip and we needed someone to check in on our two cats while we were away. Caroline did a fantastic job making sure our cats were set with clean litter, food, and water and she also took the time to keep them company, play with them, and to give them treats. She was communicative, very flexible, and gave us detailed report cards and pictures! We had no worries during our travels and would highly recommend her to others in need of check-ins.
Caroline has worked with my pets for several years and each time we coordinate, she responds quickly to my request and makes a steadfast decision on whether or not she can accommodate the dates I've requested. I have never had an issue with Caroline with promptness and reliability. I have complete trust with Caroline staying in my home and tending to my list of things to do for the cat and dog.
Caroline has been watching over my fluffy babies (cats and dogs) for several years now and she is the only person I trust to do the job. I have two large high energy dogs (Alaskan malamute & border collie/lab mix) who are not easy to handle. However, Caroline always makes sure they are secure and safe on their walks. She typically stays at my house while I’m away and never leaves a mess. Also, my fluffs LOVE her! I 100% recommend Caroline.

Schedule
I am currently working 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday in Holly Springs but hope my schedule works to care for your fur babies! I am typically very flexible during weekends.
