I’ve lived with pets all my life and currently have one indoor cat (spayed, friendly) and one dog (spayed, spends most time outside). I’ve done dog sitting for up to two weeks in the past and cat sitting for up to one month both in my home and at pet owners’ homes. Though I prefer felines as they’re easier to manage, small/medium dogs are certainly welcome — as long as they’re not too vocal. I am a long distance runner and hiker, so no walking distance is too far for me! My arm strength does have a limit, so any dogs over 30 pounds who pull/aren’t fully leash trained are a no-go. Additionally, I’ve done pet sitting for guinea pigs and rabbits for 1-3 day periods!
