I work from home most days so am around all day to spend time with your pup and for frequent trips outside to the dog park. My own dog is on a schedule of at least 4 dog park visits or walks spread out throughout the day (20min-1h each depending on the temperature outside), but we are adaptable if your dog has different needs!

I have a fenced-in dog run in my building that my own dog loves to visit. We also live very near to Fort Greene park and love to go for walks there. I do not leave dogs unsupervised with toys or food. My own dog is not crated but does get closed into my bedroom when I need to leave. Your dog should be crate trained or comfortable being out in an apartment (I would keep them separate just to avoid any rambunctious playing) if I need to step out for any reason. I am very happy to provide a ton of pictures throughout the day!

For walks, please let me know if your dog has any leash aggression/reactivity and if they have any walk-specific training (eg, are they trained to sit down when other dogs pass by?) My dog (90 lb goldendoodle) will be here if you board with me so your dog should be social and comfortable with big dogs. He is very friendly though! I’m happy to do a meet and greet before hand. Let me know if any medical conditions or special needs ahead of time.
A typical day
Lots of time at the dog run in my building and walks to Fort Greene park if the temperature allows. I am happy to play with toys inside the apartment and practice tricks but do not leave dogs alone with toys or food.

Hello! My name is Caroline and I am a mom to a very big, very goofy, loveable goldendoodle. I grew up in a family that fostered lots of dogs, so I am used to handling multiple dogs at once and balancing the various needs of multiple pets. I have also been sitting for neighbors for the past 2 years as they travel out of town. I live in a building with a private, fenced-in dog run that my own dog absolutely loves and I’m sure your dog will, too! I am familiar with administering various diets and also medications. While I do work from home and would not plan anything big out of the apartment while your dog is with us, I cannot guarantee 24/7 attention.
