Availability

I’m currently available for pet care throughout the summer. My schedule is flexible, with some trips planned (though the exact dates are still being finalized). I’m actively applying for another job, but I can adjust my time to ensure your pets are well cared for. Whether you need a dog walker, sitter, or someone to check in on your pets, I’m happy to work with you to accommodate their needs for the summer.

Safety, trust & environment

I take the safety and well-being of your pets seriously. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I always create a calm, comfortable environment that they can feel safe and relaxed in. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I make sure to pet-proof the area, ensuring that there are no hazards or anything that could cause them distress. I have a dog-friendly environment with plenty of space for play, walks, and lounging. I also make sure your pet’s belongings, such as food and favorite toys, are accessible to keep them at ease. When I care for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible to minimize stress and provide a sense of familiarity. I always make sure to keep their living space clean and secure and will follow any specific instructions you have regarding feeding, medications, or special care. Most importantly, I am dedicated to building trust with both you and your pets. I keep you updated with pictures, messages, and video calls if desired, so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

Information Caroline L. would like to know about your pet

Before watching your pet, I’d love to know a few things to make sure I give them the best care possible: • Do they have any medical needs or allergies? • What’s their feeding schedule and any treat rules? • How do they do on walks or around other animals? • Are there any fears or triggers I should avoid (like loud noises or certain dogs)? • What commands do they know or respond to? • What’s their potty routine? The more I know, the more I can keep your pet happy, comfortable, and safe while you’re away!

A typical day

A typical day with your pet includes a mix of play, care, and relaxation tailored to their personality and routine. I start by making sure they’re comfortable and feel safe. If they need a morning potty break or meal, that comes first. Then, we’ll enjoy some active time — like a walk around the neighborhood, fetch in the yard, or a tug-of-war session indoors

Pet care experience

I’ve had a dog my whole life and have been dog-sitting for friends and family for years, so I know just how to keep pets happy and healthy while their owners are away. I also regularly take care of my neighbors’ cats when they go on vacation, making sure they get fed, have playtime, and feel comfortable in their own space. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, which makes pet care feel like second nature to me. What Sets Me Apart: What makes me stand out from other sitters is my lifelong experience with dogs and my familiarity with both dogs and cats. I’m used to caring for pets with different personalities, from playful puppies to older, more mellow dogs. I’m also flexible when it comes to feeding schedules, medication, and any special needs your pets may have. I understand the importance of creating a calm, nurturing environment for pets, especially when their owners are away. Whether it’s a long walk, some fun playtime, or just some quiet companionship, I ensure your pet feels safe and loved.
