Pet care experience

Ball throwing excerpt

What sets me apart is my professional experience in veterinary medicine. I have several years of hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable recognizing signs of illness, administering medications, and caring for pets with special medical needs. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, and animals that may be nervous or require extra patience. Whether your pet needs medication, a consistent routine, or just lots of love and attention, I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always provide reliable communication, photo updates, and personalized care to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable while you’re away.

Schedule

Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. I work in the veterinary field, so caring for animals is what I do both professionally and personally. My schedule allows me to provide walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, medication administration, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I plan my day around the pets in my care to make sure they stay on their normal routine. Whether it’s feeding, exercise, playtime, medications, or just giving extra cuddles, I make it a priority to provide dependable, loving care and keep pet parents updated with photos and messages throughout each visit.

Safety, trust & environment

I always care for pets as if they were my own while following each owner’s specific instructions and routine. In my client’s home, I work to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications, and lots of love and attention. I also make sure their home is respected and kept clean, and I provide regular photo and message updates so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment with plenty of supervised playtime, exercise, and affection. I make sure each pet has fresh water, comfortable places to rest, and receives individualized care based on their personality, age, and needs. My veterinary experience also allows me to confidently care for puppies, senior pets, and pets that require medications or extra monitoring.

Pets

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to their personality and energy level! We may go on walks, play fetch, enjoy tug-of-war, chase toys, explore new sniffing spots, or simply spend time cuddling on the couch. I also enjoy providing enrichment activities, like treat puzzles and interactive play, to keep pets mentally stimulated. For puppies, I help reinforce basic manners and good habits through positive interactions. For senior pets, I focus on gentle walks, comfort, and plenty of affection. My goal is to make every pet feel happy, safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away, so they have a fun, stress-free experience.

I like to learn everything I can about your pet before their stay or visit. Knowing their daily routine, feeding schedule, potty schedule, medications, allergies, favorite toys, commands, and any fears or quirks helps me provide the best care possible. I also appreciate knowing how they do around other people, pets, and new environments. With my background as a veterinary assistant, I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, and pets with medical needs. My goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and as comfortable as possible by sticking to their normal routine and giving them the same love and attention they receive at home.
