Rover is my current full time job. My schedule is very flexible. Currently I offer drop-ins and house sitting for dogs, cats, rabbits and other pets. I also offer dog walking. I value quality care over quantity clientele therefore I ensure not to bite off more than I can chew.

Safety is a top priority for me, which is why I require a meet-and-greet prior to confirming any booking. I fully understand the importance of ensuring the trust and well-being of your pet when entrusting them to someone you have not met before. I customize my services to meet the specific needs and expectations of each pet owner. I value open and honest communication and appreciate the same in return. During the meet-and-greet, we'll address any questions or concerns you may have. I'll also ask a few questions not covered in the Rover profile or my intake form. If it makes you more comfortable, you're welcome to have someone else present during the meeting. Please ensure the intake evaluation form is completed before the meet-and-greet. If your pet tends to be nervous or cautious around new people, please let me know beforehand so I can ensure the best experience for them during our first meeting. I typically provide updates 1-3 times a day, including pictures and videos, unless we've made other arrangements.

To ensure we're a good match, I require a meet-and-greet prior to booking. You will be provided with an evaluation form that must be completed before the meeting. This form will address questions not covered by the Rover profile, ensuring we have a thorough understanding before moving forward. I strive to be respectful of your time and aim for a smooth process. The evaluation form and meet and greet will cover most things that I will need to know; however, the more information you can provide the better!
A typical day
Every day with your pet is unique. With my extensive experience and education, I tailor each interaction based on the information I’ve received about your pet. The care and attention I provide may evolve as I get to know your pet better. In the early stages, your pet may behave differently with me than they do with you, but over time, we’ll build a relationship, and they’ll become more comfortable with me as I learn more about their individual needs. I’m a strong advocate for meeting the innate needs of each species, which can vary depending on the type of pet. During my time with your pet, I may reach out to you for suggestions on specific toys or other ways I can better meet their needs. While I’m resourceful and always looking for ways to enrich their experience, I’ll never take any action without your prior approval. I believe every pet, regardless of species, should have the opportunity to express their natural behaviors, which helps them feel happy and fulfilled. Here are some examples of the activities I may incorporate to ensure your pet has the best experience with me: *Playtime: Engaging in interactive play, either with toys or directly with me. *Enrichment: It’s important to note that enrichment doesn’t always involve food. There are various ways to meet the specific needs of your pet's species through engaging activities. *Affection: While many pets enjoy physical affection, others may not. I am attentive to each pet's preferences and offer alternative ways to show affection beyond physical touch. And much more: I strive to provide a well-rounded and fulfilling experience for your pet in every way possible.

Hello! My name is Caroline. I do my best to give pets the best care and experience I can provide. I value safety, enrichment, exercise and most of all, fun! I've been taking care of animals since I was a child. In fact, I started walking the neighborhood dogs at the age of 8. I've owned several dogs, bunnies, gerbils, and two cats so I feel very comfortable around a variety of pets. Growing up I had very unique educational opportunities. In my last three years of high school, I had curriculum specifically tailored to dogs and dog sports. This featured various topics like animal behavior, different forms of learning methods, and even dog first aid/CPR just to name a few. It also included education for other species within the areas of amphibian/aquatic, reptile, rodents and leporidae and also aves. For five years, I ran my own dog walking business, combined with a dog training business for 9 years. I have worked for a dog walking company for 3 years. I have volunteered at a shelter, and worked at a doggy daycare. While I may be dog focused, I also have experience and love for other pets! If it can be booped then I'll love it regardless.

Caroline did an incredible job watching our dogs. She was extremely attentive to both our dogs and treated them like her own. She communicated throughout her entire stay so we knew how they were doing. She clearly has a passion and way with pups. I know any time we need her our boys will be in good hands. Caroline was great! She took amazing care of our little doggo, Max - even accommodating all his funny little peculiarities to make him comfy. She was super thorough, sent the cutest pics and videos each day, and the house was in great shape when we got home. Will definitely book again!
Caroline is by far the best sitter we’ve ever had—I’d honestly call her a dog whisperer. She truly understands Nala’s strengths and quirks and tailors her care accordingly. During our in-home sitting, she spent quality time playing with Nala, keeping her engaged, and becoming someone Nala could fully trust. Nala is naturally anxious and doesn’t warm up to people easily, but she absolutely loves Caroline—that says everything. Caroline is also incredibly professional and prompt with communication. She goes above and beyond by taking care of the little things while we’re away—like putting the trash out on collection day and bringing in the mail—which gives us extra peace of mind. We always hope she’s available when we need a sitter. She truly is the best!
Caroline is the best dog sitter, period. Our boy loves her and we are so extremely grateful to have found her! She sends plenty of updates which gives us so much peace of mind. R couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else to watch our baby.
