I started cat only pet sitting in 2018 and have been cat sitting regularly since then. I have experience with looking after up to 3 cats in a house through either drop in visits or over night stays. The cats I have looked after have ranged in age from 6 month old kittens to more senior cats between 13-17 years of age, with a wide range of feeding and playing habits. A visit lasts at least 45mins, sometimes up to 90, depending on what the cat wants and needs. I'm happy to look after plants and take out bins, as well as look out for parcels due to be delivered. Before you book with me, I highly advise a meet and greet so you can get to know me and see if I am the right fit for your cat. It will also give us an opportunity to discuss the needs of your cats in more detail. I have been previously DBS checked (first when I joined Cat In A Flat in 2018, and again in 2023 for new clients) and I am happy to be checked again for new clients. Planned Holidays: 7th - 10th May 2026 11th - 14th June 2026 9th - 13th July 2026 22nd - 29th December 2026, inclusive Fully booked: 22nd - 31st May 2026, inclusive 6th - 10th June 2026, inclusive 26th - 29th June 2026, inclusive Price information: Although the Living Wage and Oxford Living Wage has increased, I will be maintaining my current fees marked on my profile due to the majority of bookings occurring during Peak periods. However, if the Living Wage increases in 2027, my base rate will increase. My starting hourly rate covers the living wage (/hour) calculated by the Living Wage Organisation and Oxford Living Wage (£13.45 for the UK outside of London; £14.06 for Oxford - 95% of London’s Living Wage). It also includes part cover of the insurance and website fee I pay Cat In a Flat/Rover. (Insurance + use of Cat In a Flat + use of Stripe is 15%). 30 minute visits are at the same rate as my 45-60 minute visits. Cat In A Flat/Rover add a 15% booking fee on top of what I charge (my base rates are the fees on my profile -15%. Deduct 15% of my base rate for what I receive from Cat In A Flat/Rover). Due to the merge of Cat In A Flat with Rover, the fees from the 8th April 2026 will be changing for cat sitters and owners. I will be reviewing my base prices in line with changes and updating them at the start of May 2026. I do not charge extra for people who own up to 3 cats: I will manually add £1.00 per cat/visit for any owners who own 4 or more cats.
