I work full time at an elementary school from 7:15-3:45, I have recently been transferred to Bluffton which will mean I have to leave the house around 6:15 and will be home by 4:30. I plan to be with you pets when I’m not at work. I will of course have to run the occasional errand but I do spend as much time as I with your pets as I can.

Safety, trust & environment
When I house sit in someone’s home I treat it like it’s my own. That means I clean up after myself, I do the dishes, I take out the trash, I strip the bed and put in the wash with towels. I make sure that the house looks just as it did when I walked through the door at the beginning of my stay.
Information Caroline J. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know anything you think is important to know about your dog. If he/she doesn't like something specific let me know! If they have any preferences let me know. As the pet parent of an anxious dog who is scared of thunder and fireworks I know how those things can cause anxiety in your pets. Please, let me know how I can support them in case of an event that will trigger their anxiety.
A typical day
I walk the dogs 1-2 times a day depending on their normal schedule. I usually do a mile per walk depending on time. I also love cuddling on the couch, and playing with the dogs!

Pet care experience
Hi! I have been house/pet sitting since 2015. I have taken care of as many as 5 dogs and and 3 chickens and as little as 1 dog or cat. When I lived in Savannah I had families I was often pet sitting for. Since moving I have only done it a couple of times. I prefer staying in home because I believe that animals are generally most content when they are able to stay in their own environment, especially when their humans are not at home. I do this part time as I am employed full time. But, your pet will be a priority. I will send you updates daily with pictures. I enjoy all dogs and cats and any other pets and I treat them as if they were my own. You can feel confident knowing your furry kiddos will be well loved while you are away. I can’t wait to meet them!

Reviews

Caroline stayed in my home for two weeks to take care of my four cats. She did a good job and even though they were standoffish much of the time (cats!), she did convert Rogue by the end!

Caroline did a great job checking in on the cats even if they hid most of the time. :-) I’m sure they’ll come out next time.

Caroline took wonderful care of our dog. She had two major thunderstorms that she had to deal with and our dog is very afraid of the loud noises. She was very sympathetic to his distress and did what she could to make him feel safe. Highly recommend her to anyone that wants a very conscientious dog sitter!

Caroline is amazing! Our two yellow labs loved having her watch them!! Came home to 2 tired dogs and an immaculate home! She is spot on with communication and updates! Looking forward to her coming again!
