I am that extra paw your pet needs!

I'm an animal & environmental journalist. Certified in Animal Behavior and Wildlife Conservation. I have a 12yr/o orange tabby name Jimmy. Also took care of my English pointer, Molly, she passed away in 2024 at 15yrs old. I know first aid for dogs and cats. I practice animal reiki. I've taken care of wild animals on rehab centers. My experience with domestic animals comes from the care of own babies, and helping friends to take care of their furry kiddos. I am a fast-learner and trustworthy person with much love to give to the animals. You can check the work I've done with wild animals at carolineguzman. com Services Perks: Walks: No matter how many minutes of walk you choose I will guarantee a stress-free and safe environment for your kid. I make sure to fulfill it needs. Please provide information if your dog suffers of arthritis or any other condition for a better experience outside. Drop-ins: I consider myself an organized and clean person. I make sure everything's left in order (safe) before I leave your home. Caroline helps clean the mat holding feeding cans besides our general requests of dropping two cans. Really appreciate her help during our trip.

Caroline was incredible, this is truly a passion of hers and she gave us the best updates. She even left a toy for our kitty! It really makes going out of town so much easier when you can entrust the little ones so someone of the caliber of Caroline, thank u so much!

Caroline took great care of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for 5 days while we were traveling. She had a calming spray to help with her separation anxiety and was still able to walk and pet our sweet but shy Mila. Caroline also watered our flowers, brought in packages, and our trash cans. Anything that came up she could manage. We will definitely book with Caroline again.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

Pet care is part of my own mental healthcare. Spending time with animals are part of my daily oxytocin and I love making them feel warmth and loved. My pets are my children, they are my motivation to live. Truly animals are my purpose in life and when I'm not taking photographs of them in the wild, I am probably playing with a string with my cat.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I make sure they have access to fresh water & food, comfortable bedding, fun time, good hygiene and emotional stimulus. I revise for potential hazards such as broken glasses, choking or poisonous scraps in the floor. Most importantly I check for odd behaviors so I can assess better the activity for the day.

Pets

A typical day

I love taking dogs to public parks, trails, new places. Some fun activities are catch and fetch, rough playing, frisbee, laser. Cats are very different from each other but most cats like laser, ball games, feathers, birds and mice games.

If the dog/cat is a senior or if it has any conditions such as arthritis, pancreatitis, vision issues, etc. It helps to know the appropriate activities for them. What are their fave and less fave game. Please inform me if they are not supposed to (go/eat/drink/smell/touch) ____. Just like humans, animals have personalities and different psychological triggers do not forget to mention them.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
