A home from home for your doggies
We’ve been providing doggy daycare/sitting on Rover since Summer 2024 and loving it! It’s a privilege to provide a comfortable and loving home for your dog to enjoy their holiday while you’re on yours, and we take pride in ensuring they have the absolute best time with us. Finlay grew up on a farm so has been around dogs all his life, and I had various pets growing up and just love animals! More recently we lived with my mum when she got her Australian labradoodle puppy Poppy and we were fully involved in her training and care for 2 years. We still look after her now, often on a weekly basis! We love spending time outdoors, so your dogs are sure to have plenty of great walks and we largely work at home so just love having dogs around the house for company. Although we have become a bit of a go-to for looking after labradoodles we love the opportunity to look after a the variety of other dogs as well and love getting to know their personalities. Buzz had a great time with Caroline and Finlay and a couple of doggy friends. He was well looked after and I would recommend these sitters.
Caroline and Finlay are really lovely and did a great job looking after our cocker spaniels for the weekend. Gave them lots of walks and even took them on a Parkrun! Both dogs settled in really well - a home away from home for them :)
Our dog Toby had a brilliant weekend with Caroline and Finlay. We were a little nervous leaving him at first but we got lots of photos, videos and updates on how much fun he was having. Caroline and Finlay are a lovely couple, and they took such good care of Toby. Thank you 😊
We were very hesitant at first about letting our pooch George stay with strangers however from the very first communication via Rover with Caroline and Finlay, we soon discovered that they were indeed the ideal and perfect couple to care for him. We were put at ease from the moment we took George to meet them in their wonderful home and were delighted to hear that they had previous experience with Labradoodles. It would be an understatement to say that Caroline and Finlay treated George like he was their own pooch. We left instructions on his daily routine and this was adhered to stringently. The communication from them was via messaging and we loved receiving the updates and photos of George on his adventures. He looked so happy and full of life. Unfortunately he was a little unwell but we can’t thank Caroline and Finlay enough for keeping us updated and doing what was needed to get him back to his normal self. Their attention to detail and doing what was best for George made us feel very much at ease and that he was in the best place, in fact almost like his second home! We cannot recommend Caroline and Finlay enough to look after your beloved pooch and from now on they will be our first port of call should we ever need George looked after. They really do care for your pooch wholeheartedly and treat them like their own. Thank you both again for everything
Our Belgian Malinois stayed with Caroline and Finlay for 6 days (day care). He is one of the fussiest dogs I have ever met... and yet he absolutely adored Caroline and Finlay. They looked after Bear as if he was their own baby. We got photo updates and every morning he begged us to take him there, then he would run in with a helicopter tail and not even look back at us. They were also very flexible with our schedule which made it so easy for us. We would definitely recommend these guys to anyone with a beloved pet!
Our dog Buzz had a 2 week stay with Caroline and Finlay and had a great time. I recieved updates, photos and videos throughout his stay. We were very pleased with the care provided and he came home perfectly groomed. Caroline and Finlay are very friendly, approachable and flexible on pick up/drop off times. I would thoroughly recommend them to care for your pet.

Schedule
Me and my husband Finlay mostly work from home and have a flexible schedule so love having a dog around for company and an excuse to get outside and exercise! For dog boarding we can provide constant company for your dog, and up to 3 good walks a day with various options close to our house. For dog walking, this could be provided regularly for anyone in the local area and from further afield at the weekends.

We have a large enclosed garden, and a good sized house for your dog to settle into and have free roam of. We are happy for dogs to sleep anywhere but also have a small/medium crate for dogs that prefer to be in one overnight if applicable.
A typical day
There are loads of local walks and we love to get out and explore when dog sitting, as you’ll see from the photos I often meet up with my mum and Poppy for a sociable walk. While dog sitting I try to get out morning, lunch and evening for a walk with 1 or 2 of these being a more lengthy one, but this can all be tailored to suit your dog. As we both generally work at home the day will involve lots of regular play breaks as well to suit your dog.
