Responsible 32-year-old dog lover
I am a 32-year-old living in a house in Wenham (with a large backyard!) with flexible work hours. I work from home, and I'm a writer so hours are flexible, so I can take your dog for a walk whenever you need me to. I am responsible, kind, and athletic, and would love taking your dog on a long neighborhood walk, a dog park, or another location you'd prefer. I’ve been a Rover sitter for over five years, and have watched all kinds of pups! Young or old, big or small, energetic and outgoing or shy and timid… I’ve watched (and loved) them all! Being a Rover sitter is truly one of my biggest joys. As someone who loves dogs but doesn’t have one yet myself, I will truly treat your pup like my own and make sure he or she has a fantastic time away :) I am a previous pet owner myself -- growing up I had an incredibly energetic golden retriever dog, as well as a cat who lived 15 years. I also used to volunteer at the Ipswich Animal Shelter because I love all animals! I work a 9-to-5 job from home, but my role as a writer means I have limited meetings — so I have a lot of flexibility to take your pup for walks and play with him or her throughout the day. I follow the owner’s advice when it comes to how to make the animal feel safe and comfortable in my home. I ensure I am always aware of where the pup or cat is and watch them so they don’t get themselves into harm’s way, and I follow the animal’s lead when it comes to whether they want to be picked up or pet or whether they want space to explore a bit.

Caroline did a great job with my two dogs! Lots of d exercise and love!
Caroline was amazing! She made my pups feel right at home and gave them lots of love. She also sent many photos which was great. Her yard is large and the pups had a blast running and sniffing. Will definitely be booking with Caroline again!

I work full-time from home, and as a writer I have a flexible schedule to play and walk your pet throughout the day as well as on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a house in Wenham, and I always ensure anything potentially dangerous is off the floor before a pup comes over. I also make sure they have their own space in my house on a dog bed or blanket with toys so they feel safe and welcomed.
A typical day
I'd love to take your dog to a nearby park or on a long adventurous walk with lots of stops for treats. We can also play outside in my backyard! However, this is your pet -- so if you have a nice spot you prefer taking him/her, I will be happy to do the same to give your pet a sense of consistency and comfort.

- I’d love to know your dogs preferences when it comes to where he or she likes to play; if they’re comfortable being approached on the sidewalk by other dogs; and if they like long or short walks. Additionally it’s helpful to know if a dog likes to be picked up and pet or left alone, and what I can do to make him or her as happy and calm as possible!
