Hi, I'm Caroline. I've been the person petting the dog in the corner at every party since I was a kid, so taking care of yours is basically a dream job for me. I've cared for dogs of every age and ability, from young puppies to senior dogs who are blind or deaf, including dogs with diabetes who need insulin injections. I spent a stretch during COVID working on a ranch with animals, so I'm comfortable with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. Three legs, four legs, doesn't matter to me, I just love the connection. I'm outside almost every day on the Katy Trail, and your dog will go pretty much everywhere I go. Expect belly rubs, ear scratches, and a lot of attention.

Schedule
I work a hybrid schedule and I'm only in the office on Wednesdays, the rest of the week I'm home. I also spend a lot of time outside on the Katy Trail, so your pup gets real activity, not just a yard break. My office day is flexible, so if you let me know ahead of time, I can shift it or work around your pup's schedule. That means for most boarding stays, your dog would be with me essentially around the clock, with maybe a few hours away on one day, and I'll always plan for that in advance so it's never a surprise.

I live in a townhome with direct outdoor access, so no elevators or long hallway walks needed when your pup needs to go out. I'm also a block from the Katy Trail and close to a dog park, so there's always an easy option for exercise, whether that's a long walk or some off-leash playtime. At home, your dog would be part of my everyday routine, not left alone in a crate for hours. I keep a consistent schedule, feed on time, and make sure there's plenty of attention. If your pup has specific habits or routines from home, I'll do my best to stick to them so the stay feels familiar.
A typical day
I love to stimulate the dogs, whether that be going around and smelling all the new smells around the neighborhood or working on obedience or being mentally challenged!
