Safety, trust & environment

In my home, I provide a calm and cozy environment with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable. I have two friendly female cats—3-year-old sisters—who are well-socialized and used to having other pets around. I also have a large fenced yard, which is a rare find in the heart of Manhattan, giving dogs a safe space to explore and play under supervision. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medication needs, and preferred activities, to make sure they feel right at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and maintain your pet’s usual routine, providing lots of love, attention, and care to keep them happy and stress-free while you’re away.

Information Caroline B. would like to know about your pet

It’s really important for me to know each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs they might have. Things like their feeding schedule, favorite toys or activities, and how they usually behave around new people or animals help me make them feel comfortable and cared for. I also like to know if they have any medical conditions, allergies, or if they need medications, as well as how they handle things like grooming, loud noises, or being alone. The more I know about what makes your pet happy (or anxious), the better I can personalize their care and keep them feeling safe and loved while you’re away.

A typical day

A typical day with me starts with making sure your pet feels comfortable and loved. For cats, that might mean a gentle morning greeting, fresh food and water, and a clean litter box to start the day right. I love spending time playing with toys like feather wands or laser pointers, or just relaxing with them if they prefer calm companionship. For dogs, we’ll enjoy some outdoor time in my fenced yard or go on a nice walk to get energy out. I always tailor activities to each pet’s personality—whether that’s active play, cuddle time, or just being a quiet presence. Throughout the day, I make sure they stick to their routine, get plenty of attention, and have a cozy spot to nap. The goal is always to keep them happy, relaxed, and entertained while you’re away.

Pet care experience

I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a child, and it’s something I truly enjoy. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs of different breeds, ages, and temperaments. One of my most rewarding experiences was training an Irish Doodle, which helped me develop a strong understanding of positive reinforcement techniques and the patience needed for effective training. I’m also attentive to the specific needs of each pet, whether they need extra playtime, gentle care, or just a cozy companion. What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong connection with animals and my personalized approach to pet care. I treat every pet like they’re part of my family, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also have experience with both young puppies and older dogs, understanding that each stage of life comes with its own set of needs—from playful energy to extra comfort and support. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to making your pet’s experience stress-free and enjoyable.

Caroline is fantastic! She is very reliable, considerate and responsible and most importantly, she is great with our two kitties! She takes the time to play and cuddle with them which helps give us peace of mind while we are away.

We’ve stayed with Caroline multiple times, and Miko always has the best time! He loves the vibe there, especially spending time with BK and Stormy. Caroline is incredibly caring, reliable, and always keeps me updated. Knowing Miko is happy and well cared for gives me complete peace of mind. I highly recommend her, and we’ll definitely be back!
