Pet care experience

Dog-loving CRNA student & pet aunt!

I’ve been around animals my entire life—starting with two sweet black labs, Quarter and Ruby, who were part of my childhood pack. We also had a sassy long-haired mini dachshund named Daisy, who ruled the house. These early experiences taught me how to feed, care for, and understand dogs of all sizes and personalities. Today, I’m the proud “fun dog aunt” to my siblings’ pups: Bentley (a lab/Rottweiler mix), and Lemon (a long-haired mini dachshund). Our family recently adopted Lemon’s parents too, so I’ve seen it all from puppies to seniors, big breeds to little ones. I’ve dog-sat for friends and family countless times and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or just a cuddle on the couch, your pet will be treated like family.

Safety, trust & environment

I always prioritize safety, trust, and comfort. I follow feeding and medication instructions closely, make sure pets are never left unsupervised in unsafe areas, and maintain a calm, structured environment. I’m respectful of your space and your pet’s routine, and I send frequent photo updates so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and cared for. I treat every dog like my own (if I had one!), and I’ll make sure yours feels loved and secure while you’re away.

Caroline was so accommodating when I made a booking mistake. She was right on time and very patient with my rescue dog and very kind to him. She sent me pictures and updates so I did not have to worry. I highly recommend her!

Caroline did a great job watching Nelly. She took time to meet us before the scheduled dates and she was very communicative leading up to and throughout the stay. I felt assured that Nelly would be in good hands while I was away at a work conference. When I returned Nelly was very happy, and I could tell that she had lots of fun activity with Caroline. Nelly was relaxed and calm, we had a good reunion when I returned and were able to relax together the rest of the evening. Highly recommend Caroline for dog/house sitting.

Schedule

I’m currently in school full-time to become a CRNA, my class schedule this semester roughly is as follows; Mon 9-1, Tue & Wed lab times vary, Thurs 9-4. *I am DT Charleston (my new apartment does not allow dogs to stay here) (so for doggy DAY CARE I could watch at your home or be out and about with them!) I’m typically in Mount Pleasant, downtown Charleston, Isle of Palms, or James Island, and I can adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. Study breaks are perfect for walks, playtime, or home visits. Just let me know what your pet needs, I’m happy to work around it!

I love all types of dogs, all that I ask is that they are friendly to a new face and not aggressive! I am happy to give any meds, treats, special requests etc! Please let me know if they do not like to be in public settings, around other dogs, etc. I want us both to be comfortable!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
