EMPATHETIC CONNECTION WITH DOGS

In Home Dog Boarding and Daycare experience for 20+ Years. I understand dog behavior, medical needs, and anxieties. I will take in dogs with or without special needs (blind.deaf, disabled, anxious, traumatized, etc.). I will NOT take aggressive dogs in my home. All dogs need to have vaccinations up to date, as every dog accepted here is fully vacinated. Parents bring there own preferred food and treats. Feeding will be given at each individual dogs regular home schedule. Multiple play times and potty breaks outside in a safe doubled fenced in yard (6 foot wood fence and an additional iron fence near entrance) throughout the day!! Plenty of indoor room to play, rest, snuggle, and follow me everywhere! Dogs are never caged, unless parents have special requests ( ie: puppies or seniors sleeping or eating) Sleeping arrangements vary according to the parents and pet needs. Puppies are especially welcomed and given special attention to help with potty training and good social behavior. Meet and Greets are preferred for evaluation of a perfect fit with my other gentle and social dogs in my home and familiarity of my home before a dog's stay to reduce anxieties. I will take dogs with Special diets and medication administering (except needle administration). I also care for my adult son (25 years) with mild Intellectual disabilities full time. I monitor and schedule his outside activities and special services that serve him. This allows me to be home to care for your dogs. Texts and Picture Updates Given to Owners During Their Stay. I just love and adore dogs ! ! BACKGROUND INFO I am a retired tenured Health and Physical Education Teacher and College/ USGF Gymnastic Coach and Choreographer. I have a master's degree in Health Education from St. Joseph's University and a Bachelors degree in Physical & Health Education Teaching and Dance from Temple University.

Not a good experience. Carol didn’t respond to my texts before I drop off or pick up so I have to knock on the door. I also asked how’s my dog doing during the day but still no response. Carol sent one picture after I picked up my dog. The house / environment is not good - it’s smelly and I can even smell the cigar/smoke on my dog.

Keep looking. "They" and I say they because Carol isn't the only person involved. She wouldn't let me pick up my dog early because she was going to a picnic. Then who was watching my dog?? She said her son's in and out. I didnt hire her son. When I finally could get my dog. She nor her son could find my dog. My dog was locked outside in the back. All other dogs inside. It took them awhile to find her. Carol was convinced that my dog had followed her upstairs when she had no idea where she was..she was loopy and uncertain yet charging $63 to watch a dog...when she wasn't watching her.. Police were called. Report filed. Cant make it up. Dog was starving despite "being fed." Keep looking if you leave your dog here...good luck.
