Carol's Canine Companion

I have always had dogs in my life until I lost my best friend (dog) about 5 years ago. My house feels empty without her, but I am not ready for another pet of my own yet. I retired in July 2024 and moved from VA to FL. I also like to travel and explore the area. I love the beach and weather. I live in a single family home in a quiet neighborhood. I enjoy walking your dog around the block, so be sure to bring a leash. Your dog is my priority and I will work with you to provide the love and care he/she needs. I do require a meet and greet prior to the first drop off . This ensures we are both comfortable with the arrangements and the care your pet needs. It also makes sure your pet knows you are coming back. If you live too far away, we can do the meet and greet via zoom.

Lacey had a great time. Carol made special snacks for her. Very relaxed when we picked her up.

Carol was great with my girls! I was nervous leaving them with someone new but they settled right in and were very well loved while I was gone. Carol was great about texting me regular updates and pictures while I travelled. I’d definitely recommend her!

Sailor was very well taken care of while she was in Carol’s care. We received daily pictures and updates that gave us much peace of mind and helped us enjoy our time away. I highly recommend Carol and will be using her again.

Schedule

I retired in July 2024 so I can spend lots of time with your pet. I work with my partner so your pet will never be left alone. There are no other pets living with me at this time. Normally we do go to Maryland for the months of July and August so do not take dogs in FL. If your travels take you near Deep Creek Lake send me a message and we will see if we can help you out.

Let me know how your pet lets you know her/she wants to go outside. Also, is he/she fearful of anything like the vacuum cleaner. lightning, other dogs, etc. Bring his/her food and any favorite toys and poop bags. I also recommend your dog be treated with some kind of tick and flea treatment.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
