Caring for furbabies full time!
Hello! I have had and cared for many different types of pets - dogs, cats, ferrets, turtles, bunnies, hamsters, Guinea pigs, bearded dragons, and fish my entire life! I also have experience with many stages of a pet’s life including puppies, training, seniors, sick/treatment care, and more. I have volunteer experience at Alaqua Animal Refuge in Freeport, FL. This provides me with the training to work with dogs that are anxious, abused, lonely, energetic, scared, and reactive to people and other dogs. My husband and I are retired and empty-nesters. So, I have plenty of flexibility to play/walk with your animals and do drop-ins as needed! I will provide professional references upon request. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Whether you live locally or if you are just vacationing and need someone to check in on your furry friend while you are soaking up the sun, I am here for you. I will send pics too! 🙂 I believe pets are part of the family, and treat them as such. If I am lucky enough, your fur baby will get lots of love and attention from me and all their needs will be met! You can trust that I will treat and care for your pets as if they are my own. All instructions will be followed and I will leave your home in the same condition if not better as when I arrived. Please communicate to me if your animal has any preferences or special needs so I can accommodate your loved ones and give them the best experience!

Carol is seriously the best! We had never really left our two Pugs before but had to this Christmas. Carol went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Morning and night during the Holidays. She loved our pups. Spent tons of time with them. And gave us plenty of updates. Thanks again Carol! Cant wait for our next vacation!
Carol is wonderful! One of my babies was having a health issue and I wasn’t feeling great about leaving him and she just really took those extra steps with him.
Carol took excellent care of the cat that adopted us. She was very careful and caring with our challenging semi-feral buddy. We received daily updates and communication. We would highly recommend Carol.

Schedule
I was blessed to retire early and my children have left the nest, so I have lots of time to spend with all fur babies!!! :)

I have a fenced yard and two dogs. I am willing to discuss your dog staying at my home depending on their size and age.

A typical day
If you have a high-energy dog then I will bring my own toys for extra stimulation, we can play fetch, play in the hose, etc.! For older dogs, we can just sit and cuddle:) With the kitties I usually follow their lead!
