Your pet will never be left by themselves and will have lots of attention. We don't have pets of our own as we travel, when we pet sit they are our focus and how we get our pet fix.

We care for pets by creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment while following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. During house sitting, we ensure pets feel secure in their own home while maintaining cleanliness, supervision, feeding schedules, exercise, and companionship. For dog walks, we prioritize leash safety, awareness of surroundings, hydration when needed, and positive interactions during exercise. During drop in visits, provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, litter box or cleanup duties, and check on the pet’s overall well being. Treating every home with respect, follow all client instructions carefully, and make safety, trust, and the pet’s comfort my top priorities at all times.

It is important to know each pet’s routine, personality, medical needs, dietary restrictions, exercise requirements, and any behavioral concerns ahead of time. We like to know how they interact with other animals or people, what comforts them when they are anxious, any allergies, emergency contact information, veterinarian details, and specific household instructions. Understanding these details helps provide safe, personalized care while making sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for in their familiar environment.
A typical day
We are very active, love to hike, play fetch, tug and have pups hang out with us during any activity. Making time to cuddle and maybe catch a nap together is always an option!

Our dog Stella had the best time at Mark & Carols. From the day we did our meet and greet we knew they were the best people to take care of our Stella! We received daily messages and photos from them and we knew she was having the best time with their family. She had snuggles all day and they always went to the park to play fetch, they knew exactly how to keep her happy! We can’t thank them enough and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter. My first time leaving my dog with anyone overnight and for a week. Needless to say I was very sceptical and nervous. My boy has never been crated so I was looking for a place that he would feel more like at home. Mark and Carol provided this and so much more. They are absolutely wonderful. Kept me updated everyday with reports and photos. Made my vacation stress free. I would HIGHLY recommend Mark and Carol. They are both wonderful human beings.
