Work from home dog owner & sitter
I no longer have any dogs of my own & so it is a pet free home. Have had my own dogs from puppies, Mr Woody the black Labrador until 14 years old & JJ the Jack Russell until almost 18 years old. I also grew up with dogs all throughout my childhood with a mixture of Jack Russell’s, Lurchers & German Shepherd’s.

Carol looked after my two dachshunds Marlow and Beth for two nights whilst I was away, with it being the first time I had left them I was concerned they would be ok however they loved it carol looked after them as I would gave me regular updates and photos and gave them a home from home whilst I was away would defiantly recommend and will be re-booking in the future mike
I couldn’t recommend Carol more highly as a pet sitter. She is a genuine animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs, and her care and attention to them is second to none. Carol has looked after my Golden Retriever, Bentley, several times, and it’s always been a fantastic experience. Bentley absolutely loves staying with her, which gives me complete peace of mind whenever I’m away. She goes above and beyond to ensure every pet in her care feels safe, happy, and well loved. Carol treats all animals as if they were her own, always putting their needs first and making sure they are comfortable and cared for at all times. She’s also very active, so dogs in her care benefit from plenty of walks, exercise, and enrichment. I know Bentley always comes home happy and content. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and experienced to look after your pet, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Carol.
I couldn’t recommend Carol more highly, she is such an animal lover, especially dogs. And she couldn’t be more caring and loving, looking after their every need. I know this firsthand as Carol has always taken incredible care of my pug Sid over the years (he’s now 15), not only does he need special attention for being an older pug… which he gets in abundance, he comes home so happy & healthy, Carol leads an active lifestyle and looks after him so beautifully. She grew up with dogs and has great knowledge, especially with training and diet and a holistic approach to care. If you want someone you can trust 100% and who will treat your pup like their own, carol is the person for you!
Carol is a trustworthy and kind dog lover. She treats all animals with the love and respect they deserve. She is a very active individual so your dog would enjoy lots of walks whilst staying with her! She would ensure your pet is looked after to the highest level of care. I would trust her with my own animals and would have peace of mind that they were in safe hands.

Schedule
I work for myself so often I’m at home & some days I’m at home all day. It could also be that there will be somebody else home when I’m not there too. The longest I’m away from the house is a half-day & this is only once a fortnight. Ordinarily it’s between 2 to 4 hours I’m out of the house, & this is only once or twice a week dependent on my work schedule. So we can chat about all of this & what your dog’s needs are. Mostly available during the week Monday to Friday & can do most Sunday evenings as well with some weekends. You can ask me about particular weekends which I mostly spend hiking or climbing. If your dog is super active it could work to take them hiking if that’s what I’m up to of a weekend! Having owned my own dogs previously I’m used to getting up early & walking them before the working day starts & then either during the day, end of day or in the evening before bed. Or all of the above walks.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a securely fenced garden (Jack Russell proof!) & during warmer days can leave the back door open for your dog to wander in & out as they please. I have a stair-gate so don’t tend to let them wander upstairs, however they will have free roam of all of the downstairs. If they really need to sleep upstairs that’s okay. I have a lounge & dining room area or kitchen area where they can sleep of a night. Totally okay with them being on the furniture for cuddles. And there’s lots of space in the house for play. For local walks & sniffs, there is a small green at the end of the street which is a cul de sac. There is also a lovely walking area called Gatley Carrs just round the corner & Scholes Field just a bit further on other side of Gatley.
Pets
A typical day
Flexible to walk 2 or more times a day. If your dog is happy to travel we can go further a field to places like Bruntwood Park, a national trust place or for a walk along the River Mersey.
