Hi! My name is Carol and dogs have been a part of my family my whole life - big and small. My personal experience with dogs consists of both being a pawrent and occasionally watching after my friends' dogs. I started hosting dogs on Rover in 2020. Currently, I have 2 dogs - a black lab and a senior terrier. I've got both a front and backyard which is plenty big for your dog to run around in and use the bathroom every couple of hours. You can trust that your dog will be fully attended to and comfortable as I only board up to 2-3 dogs at a time. You can count on receiving plenty of "pupdates" throughout their stay with me! I unfortunately cannot take puppies less than 1 years old or very high energy dogs as my own dogs do not do well with them.

So thankful she accepted my dog last minute for daycare. He was a little sick and not eating for almost 2 days and I couldn’t leave him home alone for so long. After spending some time recovering and with good company (her mom and her two dogs), I got updates that he ate all his dinner and took a couple of treats. When he got home he ate again and was back to his normal self. Thank you for nourishing him back to health 💛.
We were so worried about leaving Niko with a stranger for almost two weeks but Carol did such a great job on communicating with us and sending us photos and videos of our happy dog, keeping our minds at ease. So glad he made friends with her lovely dogs. Highly recommend!! Thank you Carol!!
Another great stay for Oxford. My flight was delayed by 3 hours but Carol was very accommodating and understanding.

We really appreciated Carol’s high level of communication. We lit up every time we received an update with pictures. We’ve come a long way in rebuilding our rescue’s immunity over the years but the little guy still experiences intermittent tummy issues, some of which popped up under Carol’s care. Due to Carol’s prompt communication, I was able to send over special food and new feeding instructions which Carol administered. Our guy bounced back within a day under Carol’s care. We could tell that Carol REALLY cares about dogs. Our guy loves a mix of human time and spending time outside so he’s used to coming in and out of our backyard as he wishes. We wanted to find a sitter who would allow him to freely roam the house and spend time in the yard. Our hearts leapt for joying as picture after picture arrived showing our guy lying in various places in Carol’s house next to family members and ones of him having fun outside with the other dogs. We’re so happy to have found Carol and look forward to booking with her again!
I picked Carol because of her great reviews, and she did not disappoint! I appreciated that she required a meet and greet - it showed she is a professional trying to make sure that the dogs' personalities don't clash for an extended stay. She sent plenty of pictures/videos/observations of my dog Kylo during my time away, and it made me feel comfortable knowing that my dog was in great hands. I will definitely book with her again!

Schedule
I work from home all week so you can trust that I will never be too far from your pup. On weekdays before/after work and on the weekends, I typically take the dogs out to the yard twice a day for play time.

I welcome as much care instruction you want to provide me with for your dog's stay to ensure they are the most comfortable during their time with me! Play time and potty breaks are easily accessible in my fenced backyard.

A typical day
I love playing with dogs in my backyard. There is plenty of room for them to run and tire themselves out. For walks, I typically stay within the immediate neighborhood and do not cross any major streets - there are plenty of things to sniff along the way! At the end of each day, I like to give all dogs a wipe down with dog bath wipes to keep them smelling fresh :)
