Safety, trust & environment
Your cat’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I am highly observant and careful with home security, always following your instructions closely. I will also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.
Information Carol C. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best care, I kindly ask for some important details about your cat in advance: • Feeding routine and portion sizes • Personality (shy, playful, independent, etc.) • Any medical needs or special care • Indoor or outdoor routine • Favourite toys, habits, or hiding spots • Emergency contact details and vet information Every cat is unique, so the more I know, the better I can make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.
A typical day
For drop-in visits, I focus on creating a calm, comfortable, and familiar routine for your cat. Each visit usually includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning the litter tray, and checking your cat’s overall well-being. I spend quality time with them based on their personality — whether it’s gentle playtime, brushing, or simply sitting quietly to keep them company. For more active cats, I’m happy to engage them with toys and interactive play. For shy or senior cats, I provide a calm and reassuring presence, giving them space while making sure they feel safe and cared for. I always take time to observe their behaviour, appetite, and mood, and I will send you updates with photos so you can feel relaxed knowing your cat is in good hands.

Cat care experience
I have a lifetime of experience caring for animals — from rabbits and birds to dogs and, of course, cats. Being around animals has always been a natural and joyful part of my life. I shared 20 wonderful years with my own cat, Kokichi, whom I raised from a kitten and brought with me from Hong Kong to the UK. This experience has given me a deep understanding of cats’ needs, personalities, and emotions. I specialise in caring for cats through calm and attentive drop-in visits. I understand that every cat is different — some are playful, while others need quiet reassurance. I always respect their personality and pace.
Reviews

Carol was very kind and conscientious with Pye, Ernest and Carlos. She let me know how they were and sent lots of photos!
Amazing from start to finish and really gave me peace of mind that’s my fur babies were ok, especially as I had to go away at short notice and Carol responded quickly. Great communication, really easy to sort out, no issues whatsoever, will definitely book again in future :)
We have used Carol twice now to look after our bunnies and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Carol communicates brilliantly well and sends daily photos of our bunnies who always look very happy! Carol always goes above and beyond, cleaning up and piling up the post as well! I’m so pleased to have found Carol who I trust completely with our bunnies and in our home and we will absolutely use her every time we go away. Thank you Carol :)
I have known Carol for many years, and her life has always revolved around animals. When we first met, she was already dedicated to caring for her family dog. After we started our own family, she took in and cared for a clinic cat from her mother, and later adopted another cat of our own. She is incredibly patient and experienced with feline behavior. I watched her look after our own cat for 20 years, providing constant love and care through every stage of life, including our move to the UK, until our cat peacefully passed away last year. Even after our child was born, she always balanced family life with the needs of our pets perfectly. She is not just a 'sitter'—she is a true animal lover who treats every pet like family. I couldn't recommend anyone more trustworthy to look after your fur babies.
