Pet care experience
We've had pets basically all our lives, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds and looked after reptiles and hens/ducks too. Since 2019 we have been active members of Housesitters UK (previously were members of Trusted Housesitters) requiring us to stay in the pet owners house, looking after their pets & home all around UK from 3 days to 3weeks, with great references. Steve has bred, shown all over the UK and helped people train to show their dogs at Midland Dobermann Club. So as you can see we love to care for animals and have much experience.

It was an absolute pleasure having Carol and Steve stay and look after Bailey and Jackson. It was so nice that they came to meet me and the dogs before the stay—it really made the dogs more settled when we left. They were incredibly lovely and so easy to get along with and took such lovely care of my dogs; the photo updates were a wonderful touch that kept me at ease while I was away. I returned to a tidy home and an emptied dishwasher! I would have them back in a heartbeat and definitely recommend them.
Very warm and friendly people, very relaxed and we felt comfortable leaving them in our home and with little Oliver from the start. Thanks Carol and Steve!
Our first time using Rover, so we were a little bit hesitant, but Steve and Carole put our minds at ease. We felt comfortable having them stay in our home and they looked after Ralph splendidly, even emptied our dishwasher! Couldn’t recommend them more.
