A loving family home. Reliable & experienced
I have taken care of dogs since I was 16 years old and have always loved them & been drawn to them. I am 36, a mother & teacher and I would love to support you in ensuring you feel comfortable & confident to leave your four legged friend whilst you are away. It’s so hard when you know you are going away but knowing that the facility isn’t what you would want for your pet. We have been there & I have always struggled leaving my paw babies. Thankfully, through Rover, we have found lovely people to help support us and as such we would love to extend that support to you. We provide a reliable, safe, caring home from home environment for your pet. We very much appreciate that they are an extension of you & will ensure that we work with you to provide the care & love that they deserve. We are lucky to have fantastic open spaces around us in the Hampshire countryside & we are always outside walking & enjoying the outdoors. As a teacher, I have the long holidays and therefore can provide a complete home from home experience for your pet. My husband is a remote worker too so we can offer long weekends outside of the school holidays. Our family unit consists of my husband & myself, our little daughter, our spaniel Rosie & two cats Hugo & Luna. We treat our four pawed friends as a part of our family, each with their own individual traits & they are spoilt with their needs put first. We would love you to meet us to see if we are the right fit for you. It’s so important that you feel that your pets will be loved and cared for whilst you are away. Carol was great! Made me feel very at ease leaving River with her and her family. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again. She kept in contact and updated me with pictures of their walks. Thanks so much for taking good care of River!! She had the best doggy holiday.

I can’t recommend Carol and Ed highly enough. Great comms and really warm and friendly people, we’ll definitely be rebooking and I’m sure Elvis our cocker spaniel will be thrilled to go back
Carol and Ed looked after our elderly Labrador for a week and I cannot recommend them more highly. We met up twice, once in the park and once at their home before our holiday and I was really impressed. Sapphi had a fabulous week and I appreciated the regular updates on her activities. Thank you so much for looking after her so well.
Our Dog Paddy stayed with Carol for 2 weeks while we were on holiday...we're not sure he wanted to come home! He had so much fun with this lovely family. The regular photo updates were really appreciated and we felt 100% confident leaving him. Paddy is already looking forward to another stay with Carol.
Carol sent me loads of updates. Max was very happy in her care.

Schedule
I am a part time teacher so will predominantly be able to offer support Thursday - Sunday and during the school holidays. My holidays are longer, so please just ask! My husband is a remote worker so we can offer long weekend care too. Availability: Thursday-Sunday School holidays: Monday-Sunday

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully secure & gated garden, with a short 1 minute walk to a large meadow. We will work with you to ensure that your routines are kept to to ensure consistency to avoid stress. We are experienced with rescue dogs & understand that needs may vary. We are confident & able to problem solve with our combined experience.
Pets
A typical day
We are up early as a family so will be up and about from 6am onwards. Our dog at home enjoys a long walk in the morning. We engage in games to stimulate & to make walks fun. We will always go to an open space as our dog is sociable & confident off lead. We will take your lead & your dogs needs to ensure that you are happy & your dogs safety and care is put first. We like to give lots of fuss and attention & will ensure all their creature comforts are around them. As we are lucky and have a lovely open space on our doorstep, we like to head out late afternoon & early evening. Evenings are spent at home with lots of cuddles on the couch.
