I've had a strong passion for animals since I was very young, and I've spent years caring for them whenever I had the chance. Visiting zoos, animal shelters, and spending time with friends' pets eventually led me to start pet sitting and dog walking at a young age as well. Through over a decade of hands on experience, personal research, and owning reptiles, cats, and other small species, I've learned how to care for a wide variety of animals, including cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, rodents, fish, and even insects and snails. I combine compassion, patience, and responsibility to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for according to their individual needs. I’m especially knowledgeable about cats and very familiar with canine body language. I also care for stray cats in my neighborhood, which has given me even more experience understanding animal behavior and building trust with shy or nervous pets. However, I’m committed to providing the same level of attentive care to every animal I work with. I’m comfortable with most ages, sizes, and species of pets, excluding babies that still need to be bottle fed. Please let me know in advance if your pet has severe aggression, medical concerns, or special care instructions, and provide emergency contact information for a veterinarian or trusted person if needed. I can help with everything from walks and playtime to feeding, cleanup, litter boxes, and poop scooping. I understand that pet care can sometimes be messy, and I’m patient with accident-prone animals. Animal care is something I genuinely care deeply about, and I always strive to provide an experience that leaves both pets and owners feeling happy, comfortable, and confident. I will give my full attention and care to both your pet and your home. I’m willing to go above and beyond to keep your pet comfortable and your home clean and mess-free. I keep food dishes clean, toys picked up, and always make sure all doors, windows, and gates are properly locked and secured before leaving your home. I can carefully follow any special instructions provided, and I will care for your animals with the same love, patience, and attention to detail that I give to my own.

She did an amazing job house sitting and taking care of my pup! Communication was great from start to finish, she was respectful of my home, and I came back to everything in great shape. Most importantly, my dog was happy, well taken care of, and clearly enjoyed having her around. I really appreciated how responsible and easy to work with she was. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy house sitter, and I would definitely have her watch my home and pup again!
Carmen is amazing! She took such good care of our fur babies I don’t think they even missed us. She goes above and beyond taking care of the pets AND our house. We will definitely be using her again!
Best sitter we’ve ever had. Handled the unexpected so well and I’ve never felt more comfortable with someone watching our dogs while we were away! We have a 110lb big dog and a smaller 35lb dog and we had Carmen stay at our place while we were a few states away for just under a week. Can’t recommend enough!
Carmen is worth the five star. Not only did she do an excellent job with the house sitting, but my two babies will miss her. I will continue to use her for all future needs, if she accepts.
Carmen had good communication and took great care of our boy.
She was great with the cats. Fed and played, kept up well with Figaro as a kitten. Mama Missy gets into the garage whenever we open it and Carmen got her back into the house this time. She took over dog sitting for us once on top of our own cats; and sometimes we had her babysit our kids as well, all went perfectly. She's great with kids and animals and obviously very passionate about animals. Well worth it.

Schedule
I’m currently available to provide care any day of the week, including holidays unless stated otherwise, just ask! I’m pretty flexible and can usually adapt to last minute requests, so feel free to reach out and we can try to work something out. I’m always happy to provide updates and photos during visits if you’d like them as well. I don't currently work outside of Rover jobs, so I'm also available any time of day for jobs and meet and greets. I'm happy to go off-app for repeat clients, to avoid the extra fees that Rover takes (20-30% off sitter pay and 10% extra charge to the owners that goes straight to them). Going through Rover for the first booking will ensure both parties feel comfortable and trustworthy before moving forward with direct arrangements. Feel free to ask more about this!
