Creating a safe, loving, and calm environment is my top priority whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine. I treat every animal with the same care, respect, and attention I give my own, always tuned into their unique routines, personalities, and comfort levels. In your home: I follow your instructions to a tee, from feeding, medication, and potty breaks to favourite toys, snuggle routines, and any house rules you have in place. I work to keep your pet calm, secure, and happy in their familiar space, while maintaining cleanliness and respect for your home. In my home: Your pet will have a quiet, cozy, and stress-free environment with constant supervision and lots of love. My space is clean, calm, and set up for safety. I only take in a limited number of pets at once to ensure each animal receives one-on-one attention. I also have a secure outdoor area (or access to safe walking paths) and I never leave pets unattended outside. Safety is non-negotiable. I’m mindful of crate training preferences and happy to follow your crate routine if it helps your pet feel secure. If your pet isn’t crate-trained, I create safe spaces in my home to ensure comfort without confinement. I always keep emergency vet info on hand and have a clear plan in place in case of illness, injury, or emergency. I keep a stocked pet first aid kit and stay calm under pressure your pet’s health and well-being is always my #1 focus. I know how much your pet means to you and I don’t take that trust lightly. I show up reliably, communicate openly, and care for your pet like they’re my own. My goal is always to provide you with total peace of mind.

Carmen took care of our kitties on a last minute request. This was my first time using Rover, so naturally I was hesitant to leave my babies in someone else’s care while I was away. But with Carmen I was pleasantly surprised. Carmen provided detailed and reassuring updates every day, and pictures with our angels. It was very obvious that the babies immediately trusted Carmen, and came out of their hiding spots to cuddle. I wanted to make Carmen’s life easier by making treats, litter scooping, and wet food optional, but she went above and beyond and did it anyway. It was a nice surprise. Thanks again Carmen. I’m so happy to have found your services and will 100% use your services again if you’ll have us.
