I am currently working full time but have a flexible schedule so can usually accommodate any time of day with some notice. I walk my own dogs twice a day and live in an area with 5 parks. I take my dogs to the park frequently too so can easily add another dog to the mix.

I have a fenced yard and a large pet filled home. My yard has a patio cover and a fan to keep everyone comfortable. For well behaved dogs who are cat savvy and non destructive, I can offer them to come inside and hang out on the couches. For other people’s homes, I love getting to know pets and will gladly try to make them as comfortable as possible. I’m happy to play with their favorite toys and give plenty of pets.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, aggression issues, health issues, and most importantly a favorite toy/pet/walking trail. If your dog is an escape artist, please let me know ahead of time, 6 foot fences are a tower for some and a jump for others.
A typical day
I will take your dogs on a walk to explore parks and nature trails. If staying with me and good the car, I can take on adventures in any season except summer. I have had high energy breeds for 15 years, so am well versed in mental stimulation games and tiring out hyper pups.

I have loved animals since I was small, volunteered at animal rescues since I was a child, and have my own menagerie of furry critters. I worked at a horse stable for over 7 years and owned a horse so also am knowledgeable about horses, donkeys, goats, chickens in addition to cat and dogs. I have trained all my dogs for over 15 years so understand how to kindly guide dogs. I have given medicine in all forms and am well versed in pet home first aid.

Carly watched our Labrador Retriever and our cat for several days while we went to So Cal. She was a FANTASTIC pet sitter! She visited our house as scheduled, and was very attentive to our pets’ needs. She provided us an informative, concise recap of EVERY visit, with plenty of photos. Helped to reassure us that our “kids” were in good hands! Super friendly and easy to communicate with. We’ll definitely be using Carly again!
