To put it simply, my schedule is wide open. I recently quit my job of 8 years. I own a rental property and can get by on rental income. I am, however, looking for a flexible day job that is better aligned with who I am and would enjoy.

I am mostly interested in dog walking and drop-in visits, but could potentially house sit as long as my fur baby can tag along. I have a 16 year old Rat Terrier named Lil Man who gets along with any dog. Lil Man is truly an old man though! He likes to lay around and wouldn't be very interested in playing with your dog. Unfortunately, my apartment isn't ideal for boarding or doggy day care.

I am a petite lady so sometimes large, strong dogs can be hard to handle. Other than that, I'm really pretty flexible. I'm especially sensitive to senior dogs as I've come to understand my own dogs changing needs as he's aged.
A typical day
I love checking out new places to explore so I'll enjoy walking your dog around your neighborhood, local park, and/or nearby trails. I'm used to my dogs frequent potty breaks so I can keep up with your dogs needs. Baths, brushings and feedings are no problem. Happy to complete small chores like cleaning a litter box or cleaning up after an accident.

Pet care experience
I have always helped out family, friends and neighbors with their pets over the years. I've always appreciated making little connections with the animals I am lucky enough to get to know. As I was growing up, my family owned a farm and we had many cats and dogs, horses, chickens, a guinea pig, a hamster, a snake, a bearded dragon, a hermit crab, and lots of gold fish! As a young adult I worked on a goat farm and volunteered at an animal sanctuary. Also, I am pretty adventurous and I LOVE to be outside. Two years ago, I spent 6 months thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail and met some incredible dogs along the way!
