Pet care is an important and natural part of my daily routine. With four dogs and two rabbits, I’ve developed a consistent schedule that balances their needs with my own responsibilities. Every morning starts with feeding all of them and making sure they have clean water and a comfortable environment.

I take the dogs out for bathroom breaks and walks, giving them time to exercise and burn off energy. Throughout the day, I check in on the rabbits to tidy their enclosures, give them fresh hay and veggies, and spend time socializing with them. In the evening, I make sure everyone is fed again, let the dogs out one last time, and do a quick sweep to ensure everything is clean and calm for the night. Taking care of my pets has taught me how to stay organized, be attentive, and keep a steady routine. I can do the same for your pets.

Before watching your pet, it’s super helpful to know if they take any meds, have special food or allergies, or if there’s anything big I should look out for, like health issues or behavior quirks. That way I can keep things smooth and make sure they’re happy and safe!
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love making sure they feel happy, active, and loved—just like I do with my own. If their owners are comfortable with it, I’ll sometimes take them to my parents' house where they can safely play with my four friendly dogs and enjoy some social time. It’s a great way for them to burn energy and have fun in a safe, supervised environment. On warmer days, I also like letting dogs swim in my pool, if they enjoy water, which is a fun way for them to exercise and cool off. Whether it’s playing fetch, going for a walk, or just relaxing in the sun, I always try to match the activity to what each pet enjoys most.

Pet care experience
I have 4 dogs, 3 beagles and a mutt, and two holland lop rabbits. I love pets and am really good with all animals. I’ve potty trained 3 rabbits and can train most dogs how to roll over.

Carly did a great job staying with our two pups for a week long vacation. She was attentive and kept in touch, sending pics and even watered our plants! I would highly recommend her and will use her again when she's available!
