I’m Carly! I moved back to Auburn for work about 3 years ago. I’m SO happy to be in the south. I have been pet sitting since I was in high school, which was longer ago than I’d like to admit. I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes. I have also cared for the occasional reptile. My favorite thing about pet sitting is working with new animals. While in college I worked for 5 years at a veterinary hospital caring for the boarding patients. I am no stranger to administering meds, caring for senior pets, and cleaning any and all pet messes (let’s face it, it happens sometimes!). While there I learned that all animals have their own personalities, which is critical to consider when setting up a specialized care plan. My greatest strength is working with senior pets. I enjoy seniors. I’m also really great with kitties. I can scoop a mean litter box! I have a zoo of my own at my house - 2 cats, 1 dog. While I cannot have your pet lodge with me, I would be happy to provide drop-in visits at your home up to 4x/day - before work (5am-6:30am), lunch (11am-noon), after work & bedtime (anytime after 3:30pm!). Weekends are easy! Having a flexible schedule is always how I’ve operated my pet sitting business. I currently work full time in agricultural research. My schedule would only permit me to properly care for a few clients on weekdays, but weekends would allow for an increased work load. I want to ensure ample time is spent on your pets. Let’s keep your pets where they are most comfortable - at home! I can come by your house to care for your pet. Multiple visits per day, length of time spent during each visit can be up to you!
