work Monday through Friday, but I’m still able to provide attentive and reliable care for your dog. On weekdays, I’m away from home for approximately 8–8.5 hours during the workday, and I’m available before and after work for potty breaks, walks, playtime, and their normal routine. On weekends, I have more flexibility and can provide additional daytime companionship, walks, and playtime. I’m also available for overnight stays at your home, which allows your dog to stay comfortable in their familiar environment while maintaining their normal routine.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I treat every client's home with the same respect as my own. My approach to in-home care is built on a foundation of trust, clear communication, and a well-planned routine. Staying in a client's home allows your pet to stick to their normal routine, which helps reduce stress and anxiety. I make sure to create a calm and positive atmosphere by providing plenty of affection, playtime, and enrichment activities. Whether it's a game of fetch in the backyard, a cuddle session on the couch, or just a quiet evening together, I focus on giving your pet a happy and comfortable experience in their own space. I'll also send you regular updates and photos so you can see how well your pet is doing.
Information Carly L. would like to know about your pet
To ensure the best possible care for your pet, I take the time to understand their unique needs and routines ahead of time. During our meet-and-greet, I'll ask for key information that helps me provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience. What I Need to Know Routine: We'll discuss their daily schedule, including feeding times, walk schedules, and potty breaks. Behavior: It's important for me to know about their personality, including any fears, anxieties, or specific quirks. Do they have separation anxiety? Are they reactive to other dogs or people on walks? Health: I'll ask about any medical conditions, allergies, or medications they may need. I'll also confirm your vet's information and your preferred emergency contact. House Rules: To keep their routine consistent, I'll need to know where they are allowed to be in the house, if they are crated at night, and any other specific rules you have. This preparation allows me to step in with confidence and give your pet the seamless, loving care they deserve while you're away.
A typical day
Morning The day begins with a potty break, a short walk, and breakfast. We'll follow that with some indoor play or mental stimulation to get their minds going. Afternoon The afternoon is for exercise and fun. We'll enjoy a longer walk through your neighborhood or backyard, a game of fetch, and some one-on-one cuddle time. I'll make sure they have plenty of fresh water and a treat. Evening The day winds down with dinner and some gentle playtime or a final short walk. I'll give them lots of affection before bedtime. I'll send you photo updates throughout the day so you can see how much fun your pet is having.

Pet care experience
I've been a dedicated dog lover my entire life. Growing up, I had a dog who taught me the importance of companionship and responsibility. Three years ago, I welcomed a new Labrador into my life. I've personally handled her training, which has given me a deep understanding of dog behavior, positive reinforcement, and the importance of a consistent routine. For the past four years, I've been expanding my experience by caring for the dogs of family and friends. This has allowed me to care for a wide range of breeds and personalities, from playful puppies to calm senior dogs. I'm skilled in providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each dog. You can trust that your furry family member is in experienced and loving hands.

Reviews

Carly was so amazing with our pups. She sent pictures of them having the best time. The house was perfectly clean and we will 100% book with her again!

Carly did a wonderful job at taking care our fur baby for 10 days. She even took her on adventures and gave her a bath once everything was said and done. We came home to our house just as we left it.

Carly did an amazing job! She's communicative, responsible, helpful, friendly, and a great pal to our pup. We look forward to using her in the future.

Carly, did a wonderful job staying with our puppies! They were very comfortable with her and enjoyed her cuddles. We received updates with photos! We will definitely be calling on her again.
