Daily hikes and never home alone!
I work very part-time and not during the summer at all. I take the girls every morning on a long walk, hike or to the river to play. They come everywhere with us in the car and to the kids outings. ideally the dog we are hosting loves to hike off leash and come for car rides. Dogs must love kids (three boys ages 8, 10 and 12) and our two sweet, docile female dogs. Our dogs are never home alone more than an hour a day and roam the house when so. We also foster regularly for a local rescue but I wouldn’t overlap our foster dogs with a client.

I am delighted to recommend my friend, Carly, who I have known for the past 12 years, as a Rover pet sitter. She has cared for my dog, Bandit, on multiple occasions, and I have always been impressed by the safe, loving, and attentive care she provides. Bandit absolutely adores her and her family and is always excited to spend time with them. Bandit wishes he could stay longer with Carly! Carly is dependable, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about animals. She treats every pet as if they were her own, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, affection, and care. In addition to being wonderful with animals, she is an excellent communicator who provides outstanding customer service. Pet owners can feel confident knowing their furry family members are in caring and capable hands. Beyond all of that, Carly is simply an amazing person—kind, responsible, and compassionate. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet caregiver.
Carly has been our pups all- time favorite dog sitter. Carly takes great care of my 5 year old mini Aussie, daily hikes and lots of play time with her gentle giant Newfoundland and three children. Carly is an excellent communicator a sends photos to let me know how my pup is doing. I trust Carly and it truly feels like she treats my dog like part of her family. Highly recommended!
I am not sure there is a human that loves dogs more than Carly. She is fantastic and I am pretty sure that our dog prefers her to us. She is seriously the best.
I highly recommend Carly for anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter. She goes above and beyond to make every dog feel comfortable, cared for, and truly at home. Our dog literally runs straight into her house when we leave town, which says everything about how loved and happy he feels with her. Carly is incredibly attentive and makes sure our dog gets plenty of exercise and outdoor time, but also gives him lots of affection and attention during downtime. He is hardly ever alone when he is at her house! You won’t find someone who loves and cares for dogs more than Carly and I can’t recommend her more highly.
Carly is the biggest dog/animal lover I know. She treats my two dogs like family and if they could talk they would beg everyday to be with her. Any dog should be so lucky to have Carly take them for a walk or hang out with them all day. I recommend her 110%!
Carly is amazing with dogs. I have never met anyone that loves dogs as much as Carly. She lives in a great location to take dogs on walks, and will love your dog like it is her own. Carly is my go to and I need someone to help me with my dog.

Harmonogram
I don’t work during the summer and the rest of the year it’s very part time. We walk or hike every morning. On days that aren’t too hot the girls come with me in the car for errands and to take my kids to their activities.

We have an unfenced yard and a deck. Our girls just lay in the sun but I also have a tie out if your dog isn’t perfectly trustworthy. Dogs are allowed to roam the house and sleep on any bed :) If they like their crate i’m happy to set that up for them.

We walk, hike, go to the dog lake and the river. If your dog isn’t active he or she can sunbathe :) Dogs who like car rides are always welcome to join. We have a big basket of toys and bones.
