Growing up, I have always had dogs of my own and I currently have two golden retrievers. For years I have always been first in line for friends and family to care for their animals while they are away, I have also been working at a pet hotel for about two years now. My main responsibility during my shift is pet care (feeding, administering medication, cleaning messes, letting dogs out for potty breaks and having enrichment time). My experience over the years has led me to be around many types of dogs of all different breeds, sizes, and energy levels; all of which I love! Though I am not a professional dog trainer, I have trained all of my dogs myself, and provided some assistance to friends and family with their new pups as well! So if you have a puppy, or a hyper dog, no worries! I’m willing to help with some training during my time with them. If you have a senior dog that needs extra time or help moving around or getting up that is also not a concern at all. During my time working at the pet hotel, I have cared for a wide variety of dogs ranging anywhere from assisting 250 pound mastiffs from laying to standing, to guiding small chihuahuas that are blind so if you have any concerns with any extra needs your pet may have, just be sure to communicate that with me!
