I work a very consistent 9:30-6:30 job with a guaranteed 1 hour break every day. This means I can make consistent visits between 8-9am, 12-1p, and 6:30-10pm each day. Weekends are *usually* free for at least 2 checks a day. My schedule rarely changes and that lets me plan for consistency!

Safety, trust & environment

With 3 cats, I have long-since memorized what plants and foods are toxic as well as feline CPR and how to recognize signs of distress and pain in cats. I myself aim for daily litter cleanings, consistent feedings, and plenty of active play and love for my cats and any others I'm entrusted with. I have nursed several kittens back to health and have fostered as well. As far as dogs grow- they're the animals I grew up with 4 chihuhuas, a Border Collie, and a variety of loveable mutts through my childhood. I also got my start as a pet sitter walking dogs and doing overnight stays at homes to keep anxious pups company.

Information Carly E. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your pet has ever tried to escape- I have experience in corralling escapees and can even bring my own baby gate if needed!

A typical day

Whether it's cuddles or high-energy play, I am ready to get your pet tuckered out and settled. I love both and especially love when cats have silly quirks I can assist in, like drinking from the sink or needing food served a certain way. With dogs, I love to match their energy whether that is high-intensity play or low-key walks. I've experienced my fair share of both.

Pet care experience

I have taken care of my fair share of animals over the past decade: cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, you name it! I myself have 3 cats and understand their body language, needs, and quirks. I also have an iron stomach and nothing pet-wise can phase me. I also have a firm belief in keeping pet owners up to date with photos and texts after every visit.

Carly was AWESOME! I had extreme anxiety to leave my cats on a 5 day vacation, but Carly made it the best experience it could have been. She was consistent with her times, consistent with sending photos and videos, always updated in the Rover app for each day, and was friendly to my cats VS just showing up to feed and water. She had play time with them and made sure they had interactive play each day. Each day that she sent update photos, my mind was at ease. And that is priceless. You cannot go wrong having Carly look after your fur family.

Carly is wonderful. I would and have recommended her to all my pet owner friends/family. The piece of mind she gave us made our family vacation the best ever and my cats were in their home vs. a loud, chaotic boarding facility. Thank for taking such good care of our babies. Sincerely, Carrie & Josh
