I’m currently available throughout the week and have open availability on weekends. Until September 1st, my schedule is very flexible, so I can accommodate different routines and pet care needs. Starting September 1st, I’ll begin my full time job, but I’ll still be available after around 4–5 PM on weekdays and throughout the weekends. I’m happy to work with your schedule and make sure your pets receive consistent, dependable care.

Growing up, my pets were always kept on a consistent schedule, which helped keep them happy, comfortable, and well-adjusted. I would feed them and take them for a walk in the morning around 7 AM, give them additional walks and attention throughout the day, and then feed and walk them again around 7 PM. When caring for your pets, I’ll make sure to follow their normal routines as closely as possible. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll prioritize their safety, comfort, and individual needs while treating them with the same care and attention I would give my own pets.

A typical day
A typical day will include plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and outdoor time depending on the pet’s needs and energy level. I love playing fetch, going on walks, exploring outside, and keeping pets entertained with toys and games. I’ll also make sure they have plenty of downtime, food, water, and affection throughout the day. I’m happy to follow their normal routine so they feel comfortable while their owners are away.

I’m a huge animal lover and grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and parrots. I’ve also regularly watched family members’ and friends’ pets while they’re away on trips, so I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, giving pets attention and exercise, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. Having experience with such a wide variety of animals, I’m comfortable with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’m a recent Texas State University graduate who just moved to Austin, and I’d love to spend my free time caring for pets while getting settled into my new place. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, with patience, attention, and plenty of love!

Carlos is absolutely wonderful - we couldn't recommend him more highly! He watched both my dog Charlie and my friend's dog Emma at the same time, and handled them both with such ease and care. Juggling two dogs at once isn't always simple, but Carlos was completely on top of it from start to finish. He's incredibly responsible and trustworthy. He sent updates and photos throughout, which gave us such piece of mind. Charlie came home happy and well-exercised. If you are looking for a sitter who genuinely cares about the dogs he looks after, Carlos is your guy. We will be booking with him again!
Carlos saved the day as I needed someone to take care of Liv during a last minute work trip. He was communicative and reliable. He shared text and photo updates continuously making me feel at ease while I was away. He walked, played and fed my pup at the times she is used to! Additionally, my dog can be a little shy and timid, but Carlos was patient with her and able to gain her trust quickly. Will definitely be reaching out to Carlos again for walking and/or house sitting overnight! Thanks, Carlos!!
Carlos has watched my Golden Retriever, Emma, more times than I can count, and he’s one of the very few people I trust completely with her. Emma gets so excited when she sees him, which says everything. He’s patient, responsible, and genuinely loves animals. Whether it’s a quick weekend trip or a longer time away, I never worry because I know she’s being well cared for and getting plenty of attention and affection. He keeps me updated and treats her like she’s his own dog. As a dog mom, there’s nothing better than being able to leave town and know your pup is happy, safe, and loved. That’s exactly how I feel whenever Emma is with Carlos. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch, walk and love on their pet.
