I have been a devoted pet owner since I was 6 years old, caring for dogs throughout every stage of their lives. Because I’ve only ever cared for my own pets, I don’t treat this as a 'job', I treat it as a personal responsibility. Having hired pet sitters myself, I know the level of trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new. I understand the importance of following a strict feeding schedule, maintaining walk routines, and providing plenty of updates. My goal is to give your pet the same level of attention, safety, and affection that I’ve given my own pets for over 20 years. 5 years living with my dog on my own. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk or a calm presence at home, I’m here to make sure they feel comfortable and loved while you're away.

I hired Carlos to walk Kira, my 8-year-old Labrador, and honestly it was one of the best decisions I've made as a dog owner. Labs at that age still have a ton of energy but also need someone patient who reads the dog, not just someone who shows up and pulls the leash. He nailed it. Kira came back tired, calm, and happy every single time — which if you own a Lab, you know that says everything. He was punctual, sent updates without me having to ask, and clearly treated her like his own.
Carlos took care of my cocker spaniel, Tacha, for four days, and the experience was excellent. Tacha is already an older dog (10 years old), but it was very clear from her mood and behavior that she was happy and well cared for during her stay. I had absolutely no problem bringing her back again for both boarding and walking services. Carlos was caring, attentive, and trustworthy. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a reliable dog caregiver.

Schedule
I currently work remotely and have a very flexible academic schedule, which allows me to be home most of the day. This flexibility means I can easily adapt to your pet's established routine, providing consistent companionship, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of playtime. Whether it's a mid-day walk or just having someone nearby while they nap, your pet will rarely be alone and will receive the dedicated attention they deserve throughout the week.

A typical day with me is all about staying active and curious! I love to keep dogs engaged by throwing balls for fetch and going on long, energetic walks. We will spend plenty of time exploring local parks and discovering new walking trails to keep their tails wagging. Whether it’s a brisk run to burn off energy or a slow sniff-about to explore new scents, I make sure every outing is an adventure tailored to your dog's pace and personality.
