I’m a professional dog trainer and the owner of Obedient Tails Dog Training, with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. What sets my care apart is structure. I look beyond simply feeding, walking, and supervising… I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior, body language, energy level, and individual needs. Depending on the dog, their stay may include structured walks, supervised social time, individual play, enrichment, calm downtime, crate routines, and real-world outings. I’m experienced with puppies, adolescent dogs, large breeds, reactive dogs, and dogs who need extra consistency or help settling in new environments. My goal is to provide safe, enriching, structured care while giving owners peace of mind that their dog is being handled by someone who truly understands canine behavior.

Schedule
Dog care is very much built into my daily routine. I balance private training sessions, business responsibilities, and personal time while setting aside dedicated time to fulfill the dogs in my care. Depending on the day, that may include pack walks, park outings, structured play, recall practice, individual training, or calm downtime at home. When I’m handling administrative work for my business, dogs may relax or free roam in the living room under supervision. My goal is to create a balanced routine that includes activity, enrichment, structure, and plenty of time to settle.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and structure are a major part of how I manage dogs in my home. Most dogs in my care are crate trained, giving each dog a designated space where they can decompress, rest, and feel secure. I closely supervise shared spaces, keep the environment clean and organized, and avoid leaving food, toys, or other high-value resources out unnecessarily around multiple dogs. Dogs are introduced and socialized thoughtfully based on temperament and comfort, rather than simply being placed together. I also use consistent rotations throughout the day so each dog receives appropriate exercise, attention, enrichment, and downtime. This helps keep the environment calm, prevents dogs from becoming overstimulated, and allows me to give each dog care based on their individual needs.
