I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have rescued and cared for several over the years. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, anxious dogs, and pets with medical needs, including administering oral medications and injections. My wife is a great support and shares the same passion for animals. She’s a marine biologist and she's worked in animal hospitals, farms, and wildlife rehabilitation centers, adding another layer of knowledge and experience to the care we provide. I believe every dog is unique, so I take the time to understand their personality, routine, preferences, and any special needs to help them feel comfortable and at home.

Carlos was absolutely wonderful in welcoming our 8 month old puppy into his home and was extremely communicative with us sharing updates, pictures, and videos. I've never seen our puppy so happy when not at home with us. We feel confident using Carlos in future boardings for our girl.
We had a perfect experience leaving our sweet little dog with a sitter for the first time. Thanks so much!
Andrés took good care of Olive for us while we were away. He kept us updated with pictures and videos and eased our minds knowing Olive was in good hands. We will definitely continue to have Andrés watch our Olive. 😊

Carlos has been absolutely fantastic taking care of Cocoa over two days. He has been very flexible with extension of the stay and has been very responsive. He shared Cocoa's pics regularly throughout the day which was great. Cocoa got plenty of walks and she appeared to be happy with Carlos!! I would certainly drop her with Carlos the next time I'm in the area!

Schedule
I’m an Athletic Trainer and have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. My wife has a flexible work schedule and is home most of the time. Between the two of us, someone is almost always home, so dogs are rarely left alone for more than two hours. Because I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time, each guest receives plenty of individualized attention, playtime, affection, and care throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is quiet, fully fenced, and designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. There are no children or resident pets, allowing me to provide a calm environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, have clean dog beds throughout the house, and can even sleep with us if that’s what they’re used to at home. I send daily photo and video updates, and you’re always welcome to message me anytime. Several veterinary hospitals and clinics are within a 5-minute drive if veterinary care is ever needed.
A typical day
Every stay is personalized because every dog is different. My goal is to give each doggie their own version of a vacation. For some dogs, that means a relaxing, spa-like getaway filled with naps, belly rubs, gentle walks, and lots of affection. For others, it’s an active adventure with fetch, backyard play, enrichment activities, and walks on nearby nature trails. Most dogs enjoy a little of both, and I adjust each day based on their personality, energy level, routine, and medical needs. Every now and then, when we plan an outing of our own—and only with the owner’s permission—we may bring a doggie along. In the past, that has included trips to the beach, mountain trails, or waterfalls. It’s never an expected part of the stay, but when it’s a good fit, it can be a fun bonus for everyone.
